I'm not happy that his neck is severely injured, but I'm happy he's retiring.

Kam retiring is the "turning of the page" for the Seahawks. If Kam thought the Hags had any chance at the playoffs, he might try to hang around. But when a player has an injury like that, they don't risk it to finish up on a losing season. Turn the page!!!!:fuelfire:

And since it's medical, I assume that means his salary counts against the cap.
It really is a shame about the injuries. Chancellor has been a class act since at least college when he donned Jasper Howard's number during the Clemson/Connecticut game.
