Not too late.

Only 5 games down, for us.
If the line comes together then yes we will be fine. You never know when that light will go off for the young talent, if ever. Hopefully after the bye they are good to go.

That Seattle D has been blowing more leads than a wannabe actress.

This division is very winnable. If our offense weren't incompetent we would be in first place.

The offense is far from incompetent. Are you saying Gurley is incompetent? If that line gets fixed, a big if, Rams will roll into the playoffs.

Gurley gets yards even when the Oline is not doing so well...Gurley will get his, and controlling the clock will make our defense that much better.....ALL we need is Foles to throw an occasional deep ball, and make good decisions. He doesn't have to be Aaron Rodgers..Hell, he doesn't have to be Matt Ryan, for us to win a lot of games....The NFC West is ours for the taking..Will we?

Lets not kid ourselves, the offense sucks. Gurley is great but the offense sucks.

As a unit? OK, fair enough. Do the players suck? Not at all. The line sucks, not that it can't improve, and Cook sucks so far, not that he can't improve, but the O is loaded with talent. They don't suck, they just haven't performed up to their potential as a unit, IMHO.

I'm still pretty sure this O is going to smoke a lot of teams going forward, but we shall see.

Rams next 5 games:

Cleveland
SF
@Minnesota
Chicago
@Baltimore

Cards next 5 :

Baltimore
@Cleveland
(Bye)
@Seattle
Cincinnati
@SF

The Cards next 5 games are tougher than ours but not exactly backbreaking. We have a legit shot at going 4-1 maybe 5-0 whereas the Cards go maybe 3-2 at best (the losses being Seattle and Cincinnati). There's an opportunity to close the gap ever so slightly over the next few games and to try to build some pressure on them and prevent them simply running away with the division unchallenged. We need to do our bit starting with Cleveland.

Their schedule goes from cupcake to Grandma's oatmeal cookies. Not as easy...but still a joke considering all of their "tougher" non-divisional games are at home. All of them.
Cincinnati
Minnesota
Green Bay

The tide appears to be turning for Seattle and San Francisco.

Just have to stay focused on each game and win the ones we ought to.
