I'm not sure, but I'm basing it on his track record. He ran a PBS in New Orleans and Buffalo. I'm not sure what they ran in Chicago, but my bet is that it was a PBS.

Where did he not run a PBS?

I don't know. I just type in "Aaron Kromer blocking scheme" and things like that, and get tidbits like:

Coordinator Aaron Kromer employs a zone-blocking scheme, which requires offensive linemen that have the foot speed to quickly reach second-level defenders, and the intelligence and awareness to understand angles and work in concert with other linemen.

Maybe they're mistaken. I have no clue. Just curious.

Interesting. I might be wrong on that. I appreciate the information!

Kromer did come up under Bill Callahan who is known for running a ZBS. Regardless, Kromer uses OLs who look more like PBS blockers than ZBS blockers (in that they're big maulers). So even if we are running a hybrid zone scheme under him, I think our FA signings will more resemble power blockers than zone blockers.

Sounds good to me. I'm sure he'll make it work so I'm not worried.
