Seemed like he was never there for over the top coverage. Is it the defense we run or what?

I think Wade is struggling to adjust with our personnel as we don’t yet have the guys to fully run the D as optimally as Wade would like.

Injuries don’t help.

This D will get better as the season goes on.

Definitely think they will get a lot better. Today they played against the top rushing attack in the NFL and shut it down.

It's hard to tell. Wade and McVay have both said they look at both safeties as interchangeable. We don't really know what their roles and it's hard to tell if he was out of position without focusing on the video.

Joyner doesn't seem to be the same player he was last year, oh well...

Everything will likely sort itself out regarding the defensive personnel come the offseason, there's plenty of spots for improvement and many potential moves to be made

I liked the way Joyner has played over the years - but - the Rams will likely find a more effective FS for a whole lot cheaper (see Eric Reid, Kenny Vaccaro, Tyrann Mathieu, Tre Boston) next year.

F that! Reid sucks give me the Honey Badger! Guy needs good CB’s and a good passrush as we have and he’ll be beast asf!

They were attacking the left side alot, joyner was a few steps late on a couple plays but Hill does always seem to need help in coverage.

aomething that seems to be left out of the Joyner hate is that when it’s a coverage with him as the single high safety the qb is going to look him off and then throw the other way. And with the time a lot of qbs have had vs us that’ll happen even more. Wouldn’t put all the blame on him

Forget all that. Go get Earl Thomas!

We have paid some guys, but likely losing Barron and maybe Suh. After we win the SB, I could totally see Earl Thomas going in the division just to own his former team.

That middle finger wasn’t a hand cramp.

Also, broken bone is MUCH easier to rehab than joint issues.

Joyner was ehhhh today definitely no playing up to his contract but again some edge pressure would lead to some poor decisions by a qb and peters becomes more effective because if qb's have to get rd of the rock quickly then our corners can jump a route and deep plays would develop ......I know about the pressures but these long plays are not just on the safeties and corners they are developing cause the edge rush isn't there and the qb's are buying time and heaving it down field.

Joyner is an extremely dynamic player. The sack he had today was unreal for a guy of his size. I was at the stadium and was able to point him out in a couple of positive plays

That's it.... that's how we'll fix our pass rush issues... just put lil Joyner in at OLB. DID YOU SEE THAT SPIN MOVE???? went for the strip sack too LOL
