I like reading the articles from the dedicated writers and agree that there is a ton of trash & clickbait. As far as who pays, the consumer or the advertisers or a mix of both it just depends on your marketing strategy. In the case of the Athletic the subscriber cost is nominal which is a win win for most of us.

The way she threw Sean Mcvay under the bus & her crap reporting really was upsetting.

—I’m just the dust has settled & The Rams are on track again with a young team.

Jourdon IMO is good for The Rams Fans in the sense of the question she asks.I don’t need to read what she writes,because she will put her own twist on it weather right or wrong.

Agree to disagree on this one...

As I recall it, McVay was purposely downplaying Kupp's hamstring injury and his tone and body language were strongly implying it was just a "tweak" and Kupp was "day to day". It was only after Jourdan pressed him multiple times that McVay grudgingly acknowledged the word "setback" might be appropriate. So I don't have a problem with Jourdan leading with the word "setback" because she had to work so hard to get the truth out of McVay.

I think Jourdan does a fantastic job and calls it how she sees it. If she thinks the Rams are being stupid about the backup QB position (which they were), she points it out. But if she thinks McVay and the Rams are showing impressive grit and mental toughness (which they are), she'll point that out too, as she did in her column last week.

Plenty of Rams reporters have been just awful about stoking that "negative vibe" about the Rams, as you rightly describe. (Jim Thomas and Bernie and Lindsay Thiry were terrible in that regard). But I see Jourdan as being 90% positive on the Rams, and only criticizes when she has good reason to do so.

Quite honestly Jourdan has heaped a ton of praise on McVay and Snead and the whole Rams organization... maybe you haven't seen some of it...? There have been plenty of troll-ish Rams reporters, but IMO Jourdan is definitely not one of them.

I give her credit as stated above.I do also believe she is a sellout. I like that she gets down & dirty on her questions.
—Maybe I wrong in one sense,but I think if she sat on her story & would have appreciated her more.
As the call cheap goes for some,I fit that category.
—The thing is is I would have paid & respected her a lot more for having better morals.She lost credibility with The Rams organization as well & it was easy to see the dancing on eggshells.

JB is so dialed in & thoughtful with his questions.He just does an excellent job & he goes nuts in the booth.Demarco as former DT is in Awh at both players.

IMO Turner is doing better than AD coming out of Pittsburgh.It blows my mind how much AD99 improves season in & season out.

What Ram Fans such as say BubbaRam fail to realize is Bobby Brown is still The Youngest Ram on defense 3 seasons in his NFL career as a DT.
IMO his upside is HUGE!!
Derion Kendrick in his 2nd season is still younger than Tomlinson.A lot of Fans are so fast to CRITICIZE & really don’t enjoy the process & development of players .

Les Snead drafting in 2021 in his garage looking back was sort of CRAZY?? He did really well without Mcvay getting involved as much ? I mean looking back & thinking 2020 The Rams had there highest draft capital under Mcvay ??

it’s SHOCKING to me that Cam Akers & Van Jefferson are still not Rams.T.Lewis released at this time last season.Then again The Rams let D.Henderson go as well & now he is back.Mcvay has a system & it’s ALWAYS been about WE!!! Rams first .

Depends on a few things though? If The Rams want to get away? Mcvay might have a big say in that & what that means (history) means to his wife. I just think having a LA RAMS TOWN & everything being LA RAMS ? Why go into The OC ?

Mike Trout which I saw was draft on the MLB channel being drafted after Gridlich ?? He played with & traded for again this season from Colorado.He played with St. Louis.

Point being connecting St.Louis with The Rams & Angels(Lakers). Jenni Buss just won The FIRST EVER NBA in game CHAMPIONSHIP!! I think that might get overlooked??

Looking back 2021/22 Jan. 2 The Rams played The Ravens.So NY on the 31st is big,but thinking back without Lamar Jackson The Rams won at Baltimore & Jalen hit Taylor.The next week Eric Weedle was a Rams & that game was almost lost.That IMO was the key to The Rams Superbowl so enjoy win or lose.

We as Ram Fans are Blessed!!
