Would make sense.
But do they need to be thinking differently because of Harris' Special Teams contributions?

I think Reynolds problem is MOTIVATION. He was decent here and had potential. He has to want it.

I can see him returning and I wouldn't mind...but he's gotta work UP THE DEPTH CHART.

I'm more interested in picking up anyone that can return punts and kicks. Having Kupp back there to literally no matter what make a fair catch and bums like Howell back there losing yards (as opposed to just letting it go through the endzone for a touchback at 25 yard line). Even an average returner would be welcome. And, is it too soon to fire our ST coach? The worst in league.

I thought they brought up Koski for just that reason, and then didn't see him on returns.

I'd definitely welcome him back if he is interested.
Should Reynolds not be claimed by another team, which seems unlikely since a claiming team would only be on-the-hook for $500K, it would seem like a no-brained for Reynolds to re-join the Rams.

There are multiple reasons:
The Rams currently have just five WRs, after carrying six most of the year.
They have two openings on the 53-man roster.
They play mostly 11-personnel, so the top-three-WRs are essentially starters.
The current two reserves may be good but that's conjecture because they have almost zero experience.
Reynolds knows the offense, and was deemed to be good enough most of last year to play ahead of Jefferson.

Affordable, veteran depth who should be able to quickly acclimate.

Still expect some other team to claim Reynolds before the Rams could do so.

Reynolds was garbage when he was here, I'd rather let Koski or Skowroneck get a shot
Julio Jones isnt the reason Reynolds isnt getting targets, Reynolds is the reason Reynolds isnt getting targets....

Agree Reynolds is terrible. Little surprised anyone would want him back.

Detroit seems like a logical destination, he & Goff have had a working relationship ...
That would be best case scenario for Reynolds probably. He goes to a place so devoid of talent he's likely a starter or heavy contributor with a QB who knows him. Gives him 9 games to show he deserves another contract.
