I wanted to see another replay while they tended to the injured whiner player. There was 1 angle that looked very close to his knee coming down inbounds.

the rams coaches would have had plenty of time to look at it and must have determined the ref probably wouldn't have overturned the call.

This is my screen shot. Next frame after this has his but and right thigh blocking our view but it may appear that his knee was just touching the white out of bounds marker.

Very close call upon further review. If you were to use this screen shot soley then he was inbounds. But to continue the video to the next screen shot and that is where the doubt comes in.

Doesn't matter now, we won.

My brother called me and said hey that's a catch. then he sent me the rules. JR is coming along, once we get Kupp back this team is really going to benefit from all the playing time Josh has gotten not to mention all the movement of the others including Everett. This may be a great positive in disguise even though I wish we had Coop

I thought the same thing, but then my cat knocked over my beer just as I heard my wife coming downstairs, so I had to refocus my priorities and switch to survival skills mode.

So you re-focused your priorities and quickly said, "Get down here and clean this up."

Technically if you look at the replay his shin hit, which is the same as the knee/shoulder/backside. Technically this was a catch, but McVay didn't challenge it - did anyone else notice that?

One knee = two feet, and the shin = knee (which we've learned from fumble/non-fumble calls).
I thought it could have been a TD. I saw shin down.

I re-watched the play on the ALL 22 yesterday and it looked like he only got a part of the shin down. It wasn't conclusive though from the angles I saw.

However, the announcer was correct that Goff held onto the ball too long. It looked like Goff should have thrown it a half second sooner for a much easier completion attempt. Then once he threw it, he threw it a tad high. I liked how Reynolds went up for it and caught the ball which confirms imho some of your arguments that the CB held Reynolds on the last play of the Eagle game because Reynolds hardly even jumped for the ball compared to the one yesterday. I think he must have been held down.

On the other hand, Jrry is correct that Reynolds should still have been able to bring both feet down because his left leg curled up to his chest after he made the catch. He should have kept both legs straight. It was weird seeing his leg curl up like that when I have seen receivers like Woods and Kupp jump high for passes and kept their legs straight.
