Sounds like AD was baited? Who knows. He's too old to be doing that shit IMO, but as for the bungles....ya play stupid games, ya win stupid prizes.

Yeah - I remember the Chargers coming to UCI for a scrimmage & Tru Johnson went off.

Like I said to ALL that were concerned about cheap shots & things like that.

Mcvay was going to stop the scrimmage & keep tempers down. Move on to the pregame.
He did the same with the Raiders & Cowboys.
It just happens & players have had enough & wanted to start the season. Especially when you can’t tackle players for so long.

Well AD99 has done this stuff how many times? Crying against the Packers & getting throne out of one or 2 Niner games. I know if one,but he has lost his cool a few times out of frustration.
I love AD99 & pound for pound is the best of All-Time.He does have to be better than that, but once again whatever makes greatness great!
He has a Will & drive like no other. He works his AZZ off.

Ready for 2022!

This is no doubt being blown out of proportion but I don’t get the shade being thrown at AD. Yep, he has form for this type of thing but just put yourself in his shoes for a minute.

Every game, and more so in these type of practices, he is held, belted, and downright fouled on every down. Every two bit nobody wants to get a piece of the greatest DT to play the game and go home and brag to their mates about it.

We don’t know what occurred to set AD off but you can be sure Lael Collins didn’t take kindly to being shown up continually in practice by AD and whoever else was blowing by him. He would have been particularly chippy I suspect and AD had probably had enough of it.

I don’t know about you guys but there comes a point when you can no longer turn the other cheek. JMHO

Lance McCutcheon what a find! Not sure which Ram scout has Montana as a territory, but whoever it is, give him a raise.
I'm officially convinced the kid should get a spot on the team. He keeps showing out and that can't be ignored. He'll never make it to the practice squad either.

You don't know what happened or provoked AD, so can't speculate, but you certainly don't want to see him, or any Rams player swinging a helmet at anyone. That's just not smart, cuz if it connected and someone got hurt we'd be having a much different conversation.

But it'll blow over and he can go onto a 25 sack season :)

AD is so great you just wish he didn't act like this so often. Lucky there's not likely to be any discipline from it.

Yea I think it’s impossible to remove that from his personality and mindset. That competitive drive and toughness is what makes his so dominant. I think it’s something we just have to accept and hope he doesn’t go overboard. For what it’s worth, one of the Cincy beat writers said the scuffle started between Floyd and La’ael Collins and Collins threw his helmet at Floyd.

He's lucky he didn't kill somebody doing this today. Swinging that helmet if it hits somebody on the head without their helmet on is beyond dangerous. He's damned lucky and needs to stop this shit. I'm in no way saying he's the only one at fault today, by all reports Collins started all three fights, but be a man and don't do stupid shit like that swinging two helmets at people.

We don't know what went on inside the scrum, but we know no one is hurt. No women were sexually abused during a massage. He didn't knock out his wife and drag her out of an elevator, ala Ray Rice. Let's calm our tits and get the freak out of this 2nd rate Ohio city and worry about where to put the next Super Bowl trophy...

Swinging helmets as weapons. That's not good, no matter how it's couched.

Helmet to head...easy death.

McVay needs to set an example with this one. Sounds like he is starting to do that.

I hear what you're saying, and I don't disagree, but let's leave the hyperbole for the Florio phuckstiks of the world. They are already out in force.
