That was a worse call than the one on Gurley. Yes the jets player lost the ball but regained control on his way to the ground and maintained control rolling out of bounds through the end zone.
gurley never lost the ball either. he had control of it before he hit the ground. strange calls.

An idiotic rule, idiotically implemented. Now tell me again what a "catch" is?As much as I dislike the rule and think whoever created this rule should imprisoned for being so stupid, Gurley definitely lost control of the the ball and fumbled it out of the end zone before he was down or out of bounds.
The ruling the Jets received though is BS unless I don't understand the rule correctly.
