Yeah. That's the downside. You want them to be good enough to not have a top 10-15 pick, but not good enough to threaten in the division.

Sucks for them. But then again, I'm sure they didn't feel too sorry for the Rams during the glory days of Austin Davis, Shaun Hill, and Kellen Clemens.

I can live with that. If it means the Rams stay on their normal Sunday schedule, all the better.

Sheesh. From that article "Garoppolo hit the scene as a magic man, and looked the part again this season."

His QB rating for the season was 90, good for 18th in the league among those with more than 1 pass attempt. The 49ers were 1-2 in his starts. Me, I wouldn't call that magic - I'd say that was mediocre. But of course, the media has to keep pretending that he is the second coming, but now cruelly taken away with a knee injury.

On another plus side, we now have two games against the 9ers where we can REST our starters!
 
Media be like: "OMFG JIMMY GOT ROBBED OF HIS SUPER BOWL WIN DUE TO INJURY :cry::cry::cry:"
