Jim Thomas joined 920AM with a Rams update. Sam Bradford is one of the most snake-bit athletes in STL sports history, wondering if Bradford played his final game in the blue and gold, the contract situation moving forward with the former top overall pick…tough for Jeff Fisher and Les Snead who essentially have to start over again, belief that the Rams have to bring another veteran onto the roster, may have to go trade route but not sure how much leverage that the Rams actually have…Shaun Hill can play well but wondering if he can do that over a long period of time since he’s only taken so many snaps in the past few seasons… looking at the other injuries (Trumaine, Brockers, etc.), the development of Greg Robinson, seeing Michael Sam making a statement that he’s now worthy to make the roster and not sure if Austin Pettis will make the team but he’s a good follow on Twitter.
It sucks, but I wouldn't call it a nightmare scenario. We still have a really good team and Shaun Hill is a capable QB. A nightmare scenario would probably be Hill going down as well, then we'd really be scrambling.
That actually is a bigger concern than Hill leading the team. Hill knows what he's doing and how to be successful. Our young CB's are still learning the position.
