I still think Goff has a whole lot of potential. But I also think Stafford has elite talent. My only reservation is his age and how long he plays at his elite level. I can see him playing at this level for another 2-3 years.

This has elevated the Rams into a SB favorite. I agree you gotta love the Ram's all-in attitude. I don't worry at all about the 1st rounders. I've been saying it for a year. This team is essentially built. Drafts aren't to fill holes but to increase depth and anticipate roster attrition down the road.

Hell yeah go for it!

Is the Rams' model unsustainable? Maybe. But just looking at the PFF list it's amazing to me that we show so well without that first round pick... 11th in the league. Not a bad job by Mr. Snead and his merry band of draft minions.

What people fail to realize and it just utterly blows my mind is how dependent ALL QB's are on surrounding cast.

Russell Wilson, some said was the MVP!!!! Dude shit the bed vs us in the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers who hasn't done shit in recent seasons lit us up for what could have been 50 points.

Does this mean Rodgers is that better than Wilson this year? If so, why not recent seasons?

The answer is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. Wilson had a shit Oline and Rodgers had a GREAT oline.

People will very quickly agree with this argument because it is undeniable. Wilson's play was dependent on his Oline.

Now when Goff is analyzed the dependency concept is dismissed even though is is clearly demonstrated with Wilson and Rodgers.

So MVP Wilson deteriorated to garbage because of Oline, Rodgers revived his career with the rebuilt Oline.

But Goff deteriorated because he didn't study film, partied and just sucked.

Some people have really biased views and inconsistent logic.

I don't say this because I think Goff is necessarily a better QB than Stafford. I actually have always liked Stafford's skillset.

I just hope to God Mcvay gets his mind straight and thinks we are home free with our surrounding cost.

Some people claiming Super Bowl by this one move are going to be highly shocked if nothing else changes.

Every time I hear Jim Rome’s name, it reminds me when he cried like a baby when Everett slapped him silly.

Can’t listen to Jim Rome because that fake voice of his is ridiculous and unbearable. Wonder if he talks like that in real life.

For some reason I imagine him out on a blind date and ordering sushi at a restaurant... and his date rolling her eyes cuz he sounds like such a tool

I heard Romes opening comments this morning on the radio and was blown away. Bottom line, the Rams are an amazing organization and will do anything to win it all. Very few NFL owners would do what's being done to get us back to the big dance. Enjoy the ride Rams fans, these last 4 years have been awesome and there's way more to come!

Easiest thing for the organization to do is run it back with Goff with no chance of winning a ring. Letting his deal play out until he can be cut for a cheaper cap hit. At that point your window may be shut.

But this team is built to win now. Not in 5 years. You have a generational lineman on defense. A super star cornerback. Your receivers are in their prime. You upgrade at the one position you cannot afford to not upgrade. That’s the QB. Can’t hide a mediocre QB. That’s what Goff was. Limited ceiling.

stafford will give us 3 years of bowl contention IMO

Did some fans see it that way? That Goff "deteriorated because he didn't study film, partied and just sucked"?

Yeah. I was not one of them and only after some reporting even considered the possibility.

Too many people are conflating the irrational criticisms of fans and the attention seeking whooores in the media with the legitimate and knowledgeable efforts of the team's coaches and FO personnel.

At no time in McVay's entire coaching career at any stops has he treated a single player as he's accused of treating Goff...and he didn't mistreat Goff, either, btw.

We'd have heard about it in the age where social media has such a profound reach and importance that simply unfollowing someone can lead to grownups talking about it as if it means something...

The very idea that McVay or any of the coaches or any of the FO did ANYTHING unsupportive of Goff prior to the 2nd Seattle game is just ludicrous. And even then, all that was said was a not so graceful lack of commitment.

This is not Martz blocking any trades of Warner and then saying to any and all suitors that Warner couldn't even hold a ball, anymore.

THAT is what that behavior looks like and McVay didn't do that.

If he had, Mike Silver woulda reported it by now... LOL.
