A little unknown Deacon fact. A few years back, 5-7 or so, Deacon enrolled his grandson in my karate studio. He hung out every night while his grandkid had his lesson. Of course, I took advantage of that and had a number of conversations with DJ. I was surprised to find out Deacon was a full on chain smoker. While talking, he'd repeatedly light a cigarette with the one he was just finishing.

Pretty shocking right? Deacon Jones the chain smoker!
