While I certainly understand that as a football owner/GM your goal is to field the best football team possible. But at what expense? Jerruh has shown complete disregard for a player's personality, what they do off the field and now, apparently, doesn't hold them accountable for skipping practice without notification.

I thought he would have his hands full with Dez Bryant; that dude just doesn't know when to shut up and acts like a clown each time he gets a catch/TD. I found it funny that he was the first one in Hardy's face when they whiffed on Special Teams. Bryant isn't even playing! Yet he thinks he can get in someone's face? Moron..

This entire Cowboys team turned into a dumpster fire when Romo went down. My family are hardcore Cowboy fans and would always talk trash about Romo but now they're eating their words. He's actually a darn good quarterback (I will never repeat those words) and I think the entire Cowboy fanbase has been spoiled.

I'm very glad we have a head coach that holds players accountable for their actions both on and off the field. Do you think this type of nonsense would fly in the Rams' locker room?
He didn't skip practice without notification. Where did you hear that from? He was sick.

Lol at all you people mad. You would all love to have a pass - rusher like that on your team. But, since he's a Cowboys you are all moral police all of a sudden. I still love each and everyone of you.

You are absolutely wrong on that. If our team decided to take Hardy's baggage on, I'd stop supporting management. Hardy is one of the scummiest people in the NFL. He's even worse than Josh Brent because at least Josh Brent was repentant for murdering his teammate while driving drunk.

Jerry Jones is a tool!
Greg Hardy is a tool!
And the Cowgirls will look back at this season and wonder what the hell happened to their Super Bowl hopes!
All because Jerry Jones "thinks" he knows how to run their team.
We are losing games because of Jerry now? Because last I checked we have our QB, #1WR, CB, DE, RB all injured. But yeah, that's Jerry's fault. Smh.

FWIW, the Rams have two better pass rushers on their team - and each of them can do things besides rush the passer too - always useful in actually being a good football player.

Secondly, believe it or not it many people actually want to have football players on their favorite player they can actually root for, instead of despising for being scum. Winning is important, but I would much rather have players on the team I don't actually hate. Donald is easy to cheer for. Quinn is easy to cheer for. Hardy is hard not to throw garbage at.

ALL ??? Not me...I wouldn't want that prick playing for the Rams...There are sometimes more important things in life than looking the other way because somebody can play football...I despised Leonard Little when he was here...Hell of a football player...Real crap head outside the game...Please be careful about blanket statements...
.

Yeah Rynie - we actually have a quote feature on this board.

BTW, I do agree with you that your team has been decimated. We know the feeling.

That said, who gives a shit?

I remember when Jared Cook smacked Davis's hand...our players did not stand for that shit. Will Hayes went after Cook. And Cook immediately shut the fuck down when Hayes and Quinn confronted him.

You saw the leadership of Dallas. This is one of the few times where I respect what Dez did. He was the only guy out there being a leader. Too bad none of his teammates did shit.

I think if Hardy had the same tirade on the Rams sideline, at least four or five of our leaders would have been there to slap some sense into him.

Jerry Jones is an idiot if he's encouraging this type of behavior. But frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if he is. The article said it best. He's an enabler.

Here is a video of our guy doing something like what Hardy did:
View: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000398717/Jared-Cook-shoves-his-own-quarterback

And it's amazing to see the difference in how our team handled it compared to theirs.

Nah. I don't want that guy on my team. We already have an amazing pass rush without having to bring in players that are bad news.

Why would we want a cancer on the team, who isn't any better at ootball than the pass rushers we already have?

I recall through the Ray Rice turmoil that Jerry Jones was one of the most vocal owners on the issue against the woman beating Rice. He was very much in favor of Goodell suspending Rice.

Jerry Jones is a big mouthed hypocrite. He is clown with money.

He wasnt given a shot because he was shot out. If he could play, he'd be in uniform.
His last season in Baltimore he was slow and ran for a 3.1 avg
They didnt miss him either as Justin Forsett ran for 1200 yards and went to the pro bowl

There's a reason why Aldon Smith, Greg Hardy, Adrian Peterson etc are in the league while Rice isnt. Because they can still play. The NFL didnt get a dose of morality walking over Ray's doorstep
If you look back at the timeline of events for the rice incident then I think you'll see that this isn't correct. He was suspended for 2 games and the Ravens stood by him despite knowing every detail of the assault. Months later the tape was revealed and it was reported that Baltimore and goodell had seen the tape already. Then, as a PR move, the Ravens cut rice. I live in Maryland. The local media couldn't wait to have him back before the tape came out. Rice had one bad season. You think he wouldn't have had at least a roster spot if not for the public backlash? You really think that Benny Cunningham, theo riddick, kniles Davis, and other lesser backs are in the league because they're better than rice? No, it's because it would be a nightmare to have rice on your team. Women's rights and domestic violence organizations would CRUCIFY you. That's why he's not in the league.

Not mad, as others have said we have better already.

But I gotta ask, as a fan aren't you scared to have a guy like this around? Knowing the risk of being a cancer in the lockerroom (if you are publicly pushing coaches around then you certainly aren't playing nice behind closed doors)? Knowing the guy has already had off the field issues, the concern he could blow up at any minute - getting suspended again for the off the field stuff - and if the guy can't control himself on the sideline don't you have to worry it is VERY likely to lose it either with a significant other again or even out at club (where a blow up could go viral)?

Thats hog wash. If Rae Carruth came out of prison running a 4.2 40, some NFL team would give him a shot.
Rice lost a step and was easily replaced.
As for guys like Cunningham, Davis and "lesser backs"? Yeah, they get a shot because they are cheap, playing for league minimum
Rice is a seasoned vet and would cost 3-4X what they would.
Also, not for nothing, but in the crazieness that is the Ray Rice saga, there is actually SUPPORT for him.

We've got 2 guys who are better pass rushers than him and potentially 2 more. Who mad?

Don't you think ray rice would play for the bare minimum as of now? im literally telling you that Baltimore has every intention of keeping rice until the backlash happened and yet you keep skipping over that point. we see it time and again in the nfl, players regress and still make it on rosters somewhere in the nfl. Nobody wants rice because it's not worth the backlash to try and revive his career. Not because he wasn't good enough

I know the story quite well. They tried to keep him, the whole league was trying to bury it. But after an awful 2013 that showed he lost a step, and the pro bowl play of Forsett made him expendable. Period
Ray got his dough from Baltimore.
As for playing for the minimum? As a 7 year vet he's gonan get close to a mill for minimum, while non vested scrubs are at like 400k

He should be in jail for attempted murder, assault and battery, and other charges. Instead, he might just get another contract. It makes me sick to see this guy on the field.

It makes me sick to know he is walking the streets. He should have done time for what he did and the woman who sold out to not testify IMO then in hindsight gave her permission to do what he did and she's a turd too. Not as big, but still.........where is her self respect?

Hardy should have been serving time, not a suspension.

I'm fine with him not being in the league, it hasn't altered my enjoyment of the NFL one iota :)

Go ahead and re-sign him, then watch him screw up again when he gets that big paycheck.

As for Bryant getting in his face, it's almost admirable to see a player like Dez try to instill some moral aptitude to a fellow teammate who was out of line.

And come on guys, Dallas plays Seattle this week.. Aren't we all Cowboy fans until Sunday night around 7 ?
