And it will never change. They want to adjust the outcome of the game but only one play should be changed. They don't want a fair game they don't want an even game they just want the outcome to benefit them. They'll never change that. Not a lot we can do about it.
Well said.
We've seen this before with multitude of Patriot cheating scandals before.
No game result was over turned or ever would be.
Goodell is a tremendously daft Commish I think. But even he could see the can of worms from something like that.

This is the most pathetic thread post I have ever read. If I was a Saints fan, I'd be ashamed to be a member of such a loser, pathetic fan base...(read all of the responses, they are classic)

This is why I get so down on and eventually stopped going to the ROD game thread.
Every week is the same...::the refs are screwing us. Even on obvious fouls committed by the Rams. Some folks have no ability to view things objectively.

Spot on, even if Whitlock can be a dck much of the time. His last remark hit home - they had their chances and blew it. Loved the crying graphic of Payton too ... who is using the controversy to deflect from his own bad coaching decisions.

The whining is so over the top, I hope all the other owners put that pathetic bitch in her place. I never thought I would see the day that any other team would unseat the Seahawks as the most hated team in my heart but congrats Saints ya just did it

This is the gift that just keeps on giving.
The fact that Payton and the organization are taking this loss so badly is a wonderful addition to our victory.

That grade-A, ass clown Payton deserves nothing.
I hope they find him one day locked in his house with "run the ball, kill the clock" written all over the walls and furniture, in a complete state of madness.

Whitlock is right... this entire dialogue started by the saints is a big bag of shit.

Perhaps PI should be challeng-able... but the "re-do" and that's the reason we lost shit has gone way too far.

"This is the worst singular moment in NFL history. I don’t believe there was another that had the chance to completely destroy confidence in the integrity of the NFL product than what happened tonight. After #BountyGate & this, the league has crushed this @Saints franchise twice"

— Seth Dunlap (@sethdunlap) January 21, 2019

Bounty Gate and this has crushed the Saints? Sure. But let's include Case Keenum & Stephon Diggs as well as Alex Smith & Vernon Davis. It seems the Saints have made a habit out of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the final seconds of postseason games under Asshole Face!!! Once is a Fluke, twice a Coincidence, thrice is a trend. Gotta look in the mirror Saints fans.

ESPN now under siege by rabid Saints fans:

Sort of the same here, that thread became a bitchfest even when the Rams were winning by 20.

As a joke I was going to log in and post only times when the Rams got away with a penalty just to make a point.

Not sure if anyone noticed but the Rams did their share of holding this past Sunday.

I think most fans are guilty of feeling that way at points during games, heck I'm guilty as charged, I was mad about the Hekker call for weeks and I signed the Vinovich petition *sigh, I didn't want him kicked out I just wanted a fair game, and since lots of fouls were let go both ways I think it WAS pretty fair. However I think there's a difference between venting during games about bad calls and a whole city asking for a redo, suing the NFL and buying billboards, the butthurt has been taken way too far. Hope they keep it up though because those who felt sorry for them are starting to get tired of it and turn the other way

It's over the top for sure.

But the lawyers are getting free publicity which is why I think they got involved.

The rule allowing a part of a game to be replayed even specifically mentions that the officials performance is not a valid reason, it's very specific so it's really idiotic to try to invoke the rule.
