Hitting on a blue chip defender at 19 overall in the season in which your first ballot Hall of Fame 3T retires... That is some crazy shit. Hopefully he is like AD, meaning willing to work his ass to the nines to be great. And judging from his postseason comments I think he will do that.

For this draft we all have favorite players for each round but the most important thing is adding more difference makers. I want a TE at 26 but more important is hitting another grand slam on that player who slides further than he should. And that player may not be the position you want but if you think he's going to be elite take him.

Same deal with FA. I'd rather have one stud addition than a safe choice or even multiple marginal types. This coaching staff is so good that they can get production from young players. So make a run at a difference maker in this FA window. Those are the guys who you know you can count on when everything is on the line in the playoffs and this team feels like it is close to being a legit contender.

@jrry32 has some great options in his offseason 1.0 post, and I look forward to everyone's mocks!
F/A needs to be a big push -- if we get a TE and/or ILB, we can get either a blue-chip WR or CB with our 1st pick (or both if we trade down). But upgrades at ILB & CB... man... lots o' coverage sacks for "The Conductor & the Choir of Chaos" :D

Every interview I have seen including the Eagles post game, lead me to believe that there will be no resting for this dude. He seems to be motivated, he is very grounded and very smart. I think this DL continues to push each other and Verse becomes even more of a leader

Unbelievable almost. Aarond Donald retires. Defense struggles for a few games, then at the end of the season, it looks like the Rams might have the best defensive front in the NFL. Sure, we need some upgrades but this defense is so young that they won't hurt the salary cap for a few years.
