My wife is a professional photography. She did football pictures for my son’s high school team. She did a step brothers picture of my son (DT) and his buddy who played end last summer.

She took a bunch of serious pics too.

Now that he knows the nuances of playing that position in the NFL I have a feeling we're gonna see double digit sacks from him every year. If they can shore up the run defense I can see the line being the best in the NFL. Turner and Fiske creating havoc up the middle. Verse and Young on the edges. Stewart in the rotation to keep them fresh.

What they've done in the offseason seems to me they focused on stopping the run. Signing Ford and Landman. Drafting Paul. They don't wanna see someone like Barkley go off on them again.

LMAO - FISKE almost double his sacks as a DT !I was SO pissed when he dove into the endzone against the Vikings. Thought he jacked his shoulder up.His body & head shock.

I swear I had to turnoff(pause) the TV for a minute.Couldn’t take it.Sort of a dumb move, but shows how athletic his is.

In the interview he talked about getting more Sacks & knows his numbers don’t reflect his play.He talked about cover 1 1/2 of his responsibilities without giving up his side.

Last year mic’s up at practice he was like I can cover anybody.Which makes me think he could play that Hoecht OLB role, but sacrificing the pass rush. Then again getting the stop is what you want.

lol he was even talking about playing TE. VERY athletic.
& ya I really, really hope our players stop that "flip into the EZ" crap. someone's gonna get hurt on a "celebration". honestly I thought Higgs hurt himself diving for the pylon on his 1st game back: he popped up & limped for a sec before he spiked the ball.

I’ve seen that play several times. He was messing with his guys by faking that he hurt his knee. I keep thinking, “nah man. That’s fucked up to do that to your teammates.” I was also concerned the first time I saw it.

Adding on to this, an article about Verse and McVay. I thought it was rather eye-opening and showed both Verse and McVay in a good light, despite the exchange:

Jared Verse's "Welcome to the NFL" moment.
If you look at videos of how they both explained it.It shows the maturity of Jared Verse.

The story was also told last year.Mcvay said then he didn’t want to take the Dawg away from Jared. IMO he was pissed because he thought he was F’ing off to much & messing up practice.
Mcvay wanted to let him know why later on.

There were other times you would hear Jared Verse in the background (locker room ?) just talking smack & being loud having fun.
They’d say that’s just Jared. It wasn’t a surprise when he went after Philly fans, because he wanted to call them out to help him get more fired up.He has a high confidence level for sure.
His SACK levels were surprisingly low for what a high level he played at.He has a goal to put up better numbers, but it shows he cares more about winning. When he takes about playing better it’s more about containment & filling in gaps.
