There's always the chance that Goff may not pan out, but the potential upside is well worth the risk. This was absolutely the right move.
I know. I never disputed that it was the right move, I just said it came with some inherent risk. Even if it's not what I would have done, I'm still fully behind it now. And I do agree that you need a very good QB to be able to consistently compete in this league. No argument there. Whether or not Goff is that guy, remains to be seen. I feel pretty good about it though. And I think this group of pass catchers they just picked up can grow together as a group. I'm very high on most of them.
