Lol.
No way, man.
Cook will never be a great player.
He's ok. That's all he'll ever be. Just like Lance Kendricks. Just ok.
Your right. That was unfair to Kendricks.Tell me you didn't just compare Cook to Rockhands McKendricks. He still blames the sun for his cloudy day TD drop.
Maybe he thought the sun was setting in the East. See Goff thread...
I think the point is that they won't have any of the BS because they have coaches and a QB that are utilizing him correctly. I guess it is a question of where Cook's BS came from, the holes in his skill set? His character? Or a product of being trapped in an environment he hated? I'll take the cop out answer and think it is a mix of all.they're not going to put up with his BS like Fish did.
Agreed this is beating the proverbial dead horse. Obviously no Rams fan is going to buy into all the praises that GB/Rodgers sings over Cook but I think it is a valid thread to raise even if somewhat unnecessary. There's enough blame to go around for both Cook and the former Rams regime, but clearly the scale has tilted in Cook's favor even if it causes a bad taste in Rams fans mouths. Hopefully Cook realizes that he ended up in probably the one place that this result could happen, it's more a tribute to Rodgers than him.You don't need proof that our coaching and system sucked.
Oh to be a Rams fan during the playoffs. A 4 page thread on whether or not Cook sucks?
Yay....
All of our tight ends have been disappointing since Ernie Conwell left the locker room for good IMO
I wouldn't say Kendricks has been disappointing. Lance Kendricks is a good TE and with a better offensive scheme, he should be featured more. The only year that was really disappointing with him was his rookie year after going off in the preseason(and yes, I realize that season wasn't his lowest in terms of yards receiving, but I am just basing it off of the hype coming from the preseason).
Dude sucks and has stone hands forget a scheme he should be goneI wouldn't say Kendricks has been disappointing. Finally, truth at last.According to these stats, Brian Quick was the most reliable wide receiver on the Rams.
Droppy McStonehands and Catchy McGamewinner in the same game.
He's got stone hands and is below average in pass pro, but other than that....I wouldn't say Kendricks has been disappointing. System matters. Coaching matters.
Nah. This is the same Cook he's always been.
Drop, drop, good catch, drop, drop, drop, great catch, drop.
