System matters. Coaching matters. Instead of being head case that drops passes, he dominates and makes game winning circus catches now.
Goff, Gurley and Tavon have a chance now!
Maybe even Quick?
what game were you watching?Nah. This is the same Cook he's always been.
Drop, drop, good catch, drop, drop, drop, great catch, drop.
I'm talking about his whole career.what game were you watching?
Same game I was. Typical Cook makes some good catches then misses easy ones on 3rd downs. Then he makes a great play that almost makes you forget about those easy catches on 3rd down that just bounce off his hands.what game were you watching?
Six catches on eleven targets tonight.I'm talking about his whole career.
You do realize he had two drops before that sideline catch, yeah?
55%. That's about right.Six catches on eleven targets tonight.
I saw one. The ball that hit him in facemask was tipped right in front of him. Either way, he was hero of Divisional playoff game. Great QB but you can't take it away from him.I'm talking about his whole career.

I'm not trying to take anything away from him. It was a great catch.I saw one. The ball that hit him in facemask was tipped right in front of him. Either way, he was hero of Divisional playoff game. Great QB but you can't take it away from him.
Not saying he didn't have a good game. But to act like he was amazing and the Rams never saw that kind of performance just isn't true. Two drives before the amazing late catch on the sideline he lets one bounce right off his hands on 3rd down that would've extended the drive and might have put the game out of reach. That's Cook, screw up the easy and then the difficult makes you think he's amazing. When if he was really good he'd make those easy catches too.I saw one. And??

I was as frustrated with Cook's inconsistency as anyone but no coincidence he stepped up with GB. Winning is infectious. The man's got skills.I'm not trying to take anything away from him. It was a great catch.
I just reject the notion that a better system and QB have made him a better player.
He's still the same guy. Had a better catch % with the Titans and Rams (barely).
that ball was deflected. Not saying he didn't have a good game. But to act like he was amazing and the Rams never saw that kind of performance just isn't true. Well, sure. You don't to this level without skills. The man's got skills.
