I honestly think that Davis would be an upgrade over three of our inside linebackers, at least. At this point, why not? He's still quite young (will turn twenty-six this December), younger than Reeder, Rozeboom, and Hummel, and it's always better to lose young than lose old.

I'd start Speights for Reeder and add Davis for Rozeboom. Or add Davis behind Hummel and give him a shot over Rozeboom. Either way Davis would be nice to see on the depth chart.
