They were trying to bait him to get a response so they can have something to exploit.

He wants a team to back the brinks truck up for him
Umm, no.... That was what he did in Jacksonville because Coughlin was an asshat
I don't recall AD ever walking out like that. Let alone walking out so quickly with so little pressure by the media. He'd smile and shake his head, next question and keep moving. But I'm interested in seeing that if it did happen.
No because AD didnt answer questions during training camp.
Because he held out twice and wasnt there to answer questions

Ramsey didn't handle it very gracefully or with maturity, but on the other hand "iT iS A FaiR qUeStIoN thO" was like nails on a chalkboard.

A lot of people have short tempers these days, and I am including myself. So much going on in everybody's life. Not surprised he left because of how frustrating it probably was, but he came back. They are going to ask you the questions that you do not, will not, or told not to answer. That is what they get paid to do much to my disappointment, but they players get paid to do it as well.

I used to intern in a news room. Even if you know the answer to something you ask the question anyway. The basic idea is to get something quotable you can write a story around.

So how are you guys liking that trade so far considering what you gave and still have to pay him?

Love it. Draft picks are overrated if you're out of the to 5 or 10. And I don't want to see the team picking in the top 10.

I don't care about contracts. Meaningless on Sundays.

We got an elite cornerback with size, speed, instincts, and a willingness to tackle (unlike Marcus Peters). I'm taking that trade every day, and especially Sunday.

And will the reporters stop asking stupid questions? I mean, I'm a fan of free speech and all, and I respect their right to say these things. It's also Ramsey's fate-given right to walk out on those stupid questions about his contract - a contract that he has said what seems like a million times, he will not discuss.

I despise the media and all it encompasses, but these athletes that have trouble with them need to go back and watch how Michael Jordan handled getting bombarded with the same shit over and over and over.

More media trying to make something out of nothing. If the man doesn't want to talk about it then common courtesy says leave it be. But no the media feels the rules of common courtesy don't apply to them. Screw them.

I said it in another post. And this proves it. The only ones worried about his contract are the media. The Rams have spoken to his agent and I'm sure they assured him it will get done but with the way the cap situation is they simply need to wait and see how it shakes out on that end first. Jalen also told his manager not to talk to him about it during the season because he simply didn't want it to be a distraction. IF I KNEW THIS THEN THE FREAKING REPORTERS KNOW IT. Bunch of turd balls.

The way the interview started Jalen was on the edge. He was like, bye guys when it took forever to ask the first question. These are media personal & should be prepared.
RAMsey has a reputation with the media already. There is a reason he became available to The Rams.

All said he looks good & should be fun to watch. He will be interviewed again during the season.
The hope is he is he is signed & it’s after a Big Rams victory.

It's not the end of the world, but Jalen does need to grow up. Everything for him is drama. It's like watching Cam Newton.
Watch Cooper Kupp or Robert Woods or Aaron Donald or Brockers. All these guys get questions like these all the times, just smile in their face and let them know your position. No need to act persecuted. If you smile and say it the right way it makes the reported look stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I love the player. Unquestioned passion and worker. I just hope he matures. Negativity can become a locker cancer and eventually destroy a players career.

Having said that, these reporters, shame on them. They should know this guy is a Diva and it prone to emotional reactions. It doesn't help the team to fan the flames like this.

Jordan was the consummate professional, which is one reason why everyone liked him. Aaron Donald got asked about his contract for two years, and he handled it very well. Ramsey could learn from him.

I’m not giving Jalen a pass, but... at his position you see a lot of success with players who play with passion and a bit of attitude. It’s also the overall mindset of a defensive player.

Meaning, there is a reason he’s a CB... and one of the best at it.

And... passion seems to follow that position out of necessity for the most successful.

You take away his passion, and he’s not the same player. What about Deion Sanders? Rod Woodson? Ronnie Lott? Charles Woodson?

And... when I see him walk out of that interview, it’s the elements of his passion that caused that frustration.

He may need some maturing, but you see and hear a kindness to him. I’m just not sure it’s easy to find a stud CB without a little bit of GRUFF to go along with him. JMO.

And there are a lot of things we hope Ramsey doesn't learn from Jordan. Again you can't compare them Jordan didn't have to deal with the social media era. While Jordan was the face of an entire sport and always had to answer for whatever he did he doesn't have the level of media or the low quality of media that players today have to deal with. Again I get it he didn't handle it as well as I would have tried to but I can't project myself or another player on him. I completely empathize though with any player walking out of the media if they're being as utterly stupid as the media tends to be now.
