They have a number of CB’s I’m sure they feel comfortable with growing with this defense, young, talented, cheap, difference maker, and healthy. No negotiating for years to come.

No reason the Rams would wait on a deal for Ramsey if they seen value for him which it's obvious they don't. This is a nice fantasy of those that like Ramsey but it's not going to happen with us for sure.

The smart play, for any team even if it isn't the Rams, is to not rush into a deal with Miami as I can't imagine their initial asking price being low. If I had to guess, I think he'll be traded during the draft. By the way, just let us dream bro. There is some top tier CB’s, great mid tier value, and damned good developmental Cb’s this draft.

I don’t see Ramsey in our future whatsoever but appreciate what he did when he was here, it’s gone, let it go.

Nah, they could simply be waiting to see how the market unfolds. If he was 24 years old, then they’d have jumped all over it. But there is nothing wrong with waiting to see how the draft unfolds.

Say they have a few DBs they like in the draft but it’s round four and they didn’t get any of them. At that point they could think that they need an upgrade at corner and missed all of their targets, but there is one solution……….and call Miami with an offer.

Another point about the Rams' current group of Cornerbacks ...

Durant, Witherspoon, Kendrick and Lake (safety playing Nickel) are all free agents after this season.
Even Darious Williams, who is under contract for 2026, can be released after this year, with minimal Dead-$.

That only leaves Forbes and Wallace ... maybe Woods. I have my fingers crossed on the first two but neither has seen much of the field for the Rams.

The Rams when healthy were pretty hard to throw on last season... why muck it up by squeezing in Ramsey he is not the player he once was. Find some talent in the draft. I just remember the drama he brought on the field by yelling at his teammates in the huddle. I didn't like that.

I see the Rams secondary last year differently. I don't believe they were hard to throw on. In fact, I recall them being about 20th in crucial pass metrics.

You're right that Ramsey isn't the player he once was. But thats not a big deal since he was once the top CB in the league. Falling from those heights doesn't mean he isn't still playing at a high level. PFF ranked him as the 10th best CB in the league.

So you bet I'd like to add his talent IF the price is right.
