There will be another time.

Before that list there was a time that saw Marino, Elway, montana, Fouts, Kelly, Aikman, and young. THEY followed a group like Bradshaw, Griese, Staubach, Tarkenton, and Stabler.

Before THOSE guys there were Starr, Dawson, Nameth, Unitas, and Gabriel.

Before THOSE guys, there were, well, you get the point.

It’s a sexy position. It’s what drives the NFL product.
Exactly, whenever you grew up ends up being the “golden age”. Someday they’ll be talking about Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and Lamar as the golden age.

Sorry, that was not the golden age.
And Vick does not belong on that list. Cam was never all that and Romo ????????

Burrow choked in the dance. Goff choked in the dance. Mayfield, Allen, Stroud, Daniels, Nix have yet to show they can raise the bar in the big games to even get to the dance. Caleb may end up being just a great college QB and there's nothing wrong with that but at best he's with the rest of them. And I don't know why you list Love unless you have a soft spot for the Fudgepackers because he fuckin sucks.

So in your big list there's Mahomes. He measures up all around with those old timers but he's the only one at this point.
I remember a certain poster here that thought Stafford and the Rams would choke against Brady's Buccs and 49ers in the NFCCG.
He didn't choke.
Will he choke this year too? If so, I'm betting the farm on the Rams to win it all...

I disagree because football is still watchable, unlike the NBA which ended with Jordan / Kobe.

That said, I don`t want to think about life after Stafford.

WTF you talking bout Willis? In the original post, 6 names on that list posted on X won the Superbowl. The rest failed. Hell some of those didn't even make it to a Superbow!!! Romo, Luck, Fitzmagic, Palmer. There are currently 5 active NFL QBs who've won a SB, surely with more to come.

Furthermore, I love the desription "so in so choked", like the opponent, the opposing QB, had nothing to do with the outcome. Claiming so in so choked is robbing credit from the team, opposing QB who won it. In Burrow's case our very own Matt Stafford. What a ridiculous stance to take.
Maybe you should go buy yourself a fucking Burrow jersey.

No, I think I'm gonna go out and get me a Stafford Jersey though. Everett, Warner, Bulger, Goff but surprisingly, no Bradford. I'm due for a QB jersey. Don't know if I want the Ferragamo's or one of the new styles. Or maybe a black one. I have the Aaron Donald Superbowl Bound Black one with royal blue numbers outlined in gold. Awesome looking jersey.

Bert Jones was pretty good. Totally forgot he spent his last season with the Rams.
