Those are some cool Christmas ornaments. Of course at our home we celebrate Hanukkah so I take out my guitar and my wife takes out the banjo and we sing some Hanukkah songs with our granddaughter. Alas, there are many more Christmas songs than Hanukkah songs and frankly, they are much better. But fully half of those Christmas songs were written by Jews. There are reasons for this but we play and sing them and of course my two favorites "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger." Those weren't written by Jews but they are loved and sung worldwide in many different languages. And then we put on an old Brothers Four record album on the turntable. Entitled "Merry Christmas" we listen to the four-part harmonies of one of the greatest groups of them all. And that's what we do on Christmas Eve and this year the third night of Hanukkah.
