that Eric Dickerson's record of 2,105 yards rushing in a season is broken?
Through 8 games this year, DeMarco Murray of the Dallas Cowboys has 1,054 rushing yards already and is on pace to beat Dickerson's record by 3 yards. He has rushed for at least 100 yards every game this season. The remaining schedule for the Cowboys looks like this: ARI, @JAX, @NYG, PHI, @CHI, @PHI, IND, @WAS.

On pace numbers generally don't work out in the long run. I'm going with no on this one. Teams should start stacking the box against Dallas. I know I'd be thankful if they did, just to ensure ED keeps the record.

If Murray stays healthy his butter fingers may put him on the bench. We are coming up on the time of the season where ball security and running the ball are at a premium, I'd have to say 1 way or another Murray will spend enough time on the pine that EDs record is safe.

Even if he stays healthy, I don't think he'll touch the record. I'm betting either he or Romo get injured and majorly affect Murray's YPG.

BTW, is there a QB controversy in Dallas after last night? Brandon Weeden looked better than Romo, scored more points too.
Lol

dont f-in remind me

needed 2 more points from Romo or Bailey to take out T-Rex in the RRF league

lost 158.49-156.88

If he does continue at the current pace, it will be a career ending season for him. His carries alone will rival what Herm Edwards did to Johnson. He was never the same after carrying the rock over 400 times.

Think the boys will be passing even more with the loss of their linebacker for the year! Fewer carries for Murray as they play catch up the rest of the way! So, no!
