This is like reading a thread about Zuerline a couple of years ago.
All kickers are only as good as their last kick.
Deep kickoffs tbat are touch backs or allow good coverage is what I care about more than anything with Fickin.
Well it's good to know your happy with fiken most understandably are not. You mention kicks that result in touch backs well ficken isn't very consistent with that either. And if there only as good as their last kick can you say missed chip shot

Zuerline is clearly better than Fickin.
I'm not happy with Fickin but I'm not upset about it either.
Our kicker got injured.
Replaced him on the fly so to speak.
Likely would get similiar sort of performance from someone who has been sitting on their couch.
There is going to be no great answer signing another guy.

Good/great kickers aren't often unemployed or on someone else's practice squad. We lost our kicker to an unfortunate injury - it happens. You don't usually get the luxury of making a lateral move when that happens. No matter who replaced Greg, the first time he missed a kick, he'd need to be replaced.
