Not offended.

I just feel like we are on different wave-lengths. You are like a Mini So Ram.
And, I don't think I ever posted that I would "take Cooper Rush" ... just that I thought there was very little out there after Garoppolo ... and ... Rush might be the best fit of an undesirable group.

To be CKEAR ... I don't want Cooper Rush ... View attachment 75170

Yes! Same EXACT thing I said about Russell Wilson. LOL we shouldn't have even wasted our times on this and whoever came up with Tyrod Taylor as Plan B to Jimmy G has the best alternative. I didn't even think of him.

This is why Jimmy is pretty urgent, and yes as people have alluded to, we probably are waiting until after the draft to decide this. I can easily see us drafting one of Simpson, Nussmeier, or Allar. In this case maybe they are thinking they don't need Jimmy and we can roll with 3 Quarterbacks starting with Stafford and Stetson. Who knows?

I don't think that's the case at all but ... who knows

If it wasn't for that really bad sack rate, Tyrod Taylor would probably look better.
Maybe coaching and scheme can do something for him this late in his career?
His career int%/rate is decently low, better than Stafford with the Rams, and better than Garoppolo's career int%/rate.

McVay wants chunk plays, TT can get chunk plays:

People want McVay to get a mobile QB. TT is a mobile QB

Sure, he's old, but he's still got some arm and mobility:

Tyrod cant be counted on to stay healthy. The dude is flat out snake bit
If Tyrod is your backup QB, you had better have a 3rd QB behind him

My only thought on Taylor is his mobility being an asset.
The truth is.....the "truth" being my opinion, ha....is with how Stafford had to play last year to get the Rams to 12 wins, how many game would the same team have won with Jimmy G playing? Six? Seven, tops.
No matter who the back up is of the guys listed, the Rams are likely screwed if any of them are playing for an extended time.
The hopefully improved defense should help if this were to happen in 2026, but, its still a worst case scenario.
Taylor, for his many faults, offers a mobile, inexpensive option.

Very true.
What really sealed that for him was getting the starting gig with the Chargers and trainer puncturing his lung with an injection.
Snake bit indeed.
But, a short term back up he could be fine.
Any long term backup playing, the Rams are done more than likely.
