What I think about AD99 is somewhat just imo,then there is the reality. Labron James & what he just did SHOWS you what A G.O.A.T. Is all about.You look back at AD99 History & I saw him like try to help Greg Robinson out & sort of LOL at the young fella in his FACE.Like you don’t know what work ethic is.This point is just AD-LIBBING,but they were both interviewed when in St.Louis.

What I’m saying is AD99 gets to try to write his OWN story & what he wants out of his Legacy like I posted.The money will be for more than 2 years $8 million?? That’s what James just did,SO is about the money ???

Garrett & AD99 both have around the same SACKS.There’s no Doubt AD99 doesn’t LOOK UP at Myles Garrett.Trent McDuffie is in AHH of him.

I find it disappointing to think Jared Verse to be the real goat of this though.He helped bring Myles to LA. WHAT I SAY - don’t get it twisted !!! The Draft picks The WAY your talking should have been 3 1st RD picks rather than 1 1st plus.

I dont even know how to decipher this epic rant, please don't mention LeBron and Donald in the same breath again. One has class, the other is just a "look at me" motherf&$&#^.

Jadeveon Clowney 2.0 is a very real possibility for Verse, real good, but not quite elite due to not finishing his pass rushes with actual sacks. Lot of pressure, but missing the numbers that count.

To me, he's still young enough fo further develop. The Rams are on a different timeline of wanting to win it all. Its possible the Rams could have won the Superbowl with Verse here if he improved but the Rams opted for the player that is there and already elite in Garrett. Verse could very well turn out much better than we saw however he plays for the Browns so he's probably not winning shit regardless:laugh4:

Yeah sure — His career & Championships speak for themselves a long with his record.

As a Lakers Fan imo he needed to GO. As a Rams Fan it would be nice to see The Rams win a Super Bowl this Year with or without AD99.

And that is the part that I believe was just a PR spin. Don't think Mcvay was
as big of a Verse fan as he let on. A second year guy getting called out for his lack of
effort after second game last year was not a good look or a good sign .
Not saying it was enough to get him traded or why he was traded

Just saying I don't think making Verse a part of the trade was as heart breaking as they let on.
I saw it as a saving face comment , to see that Verse keeps his integrity , while making it easier
for the Rams fan base to digest. .It's just a opinion that I believe.

PARAM I certainly respect your opinion. You are one of my absolute favorites in this forum,
because your posts are always on point.
In the end the how's' and why's are of no consequence. It's done and I think we made the right
choice. And as a added bonus I think we get to see 99 on the field on more time.:clinkingbeer:

IIRC it wasn’t a lack of effort, but more a lack of being vocal/leadership. I could be wrong tho

I swear I remember AD himself saying he didn't miss going to TC. I bet he's announced near the end of TC so he can come in and do a bit of work with the team, but not have to endure the full TC.

I don't see the connection......Garrett/Verse, Stafford/Goff........it's not even comparable......Goff was limited, a failure in McVay's eyes IMO. Verse was terrific and more than likely only getting better. Don't get me wrong, I loved the acquisition of Garrett and to get it done, it took losing a great player. But like Fiske said in the training camp presser, you can be both happy and sad.

And like I said earlier, it's fun to consider/discuss lot's of things, so I see where PhillyRam is coming from.

Eh, I don't think Goff being limited was the main problem. I get the impression that Goff didn't appreciate the crappy play calling and bad situations McVay put him in... not being able to audible out of plays.
I think that Goff got resentful, and McVay didn't like the attitude, and it spiraled from there.
So I think the comparison is fair - Goff/Stafford and Verse/Garrett
 
I can't imagine him coming back for any of TC.... and I don't blame him. That man is different. If he wants to come in and wreck practice for the O, so be it. If not, I'll be happy to welcome him week 1 or whenever he feels the time is right. It wouldnt be the first... Or second TC he has missed all or part of.

That's fine. Doesn't training camp end long before the season? They have joint practices and preseason games after that. He's got to be here for the joint practices so those opponents can get him pissed off for the season!!!! Then as he watches preseason from the sideline, that rage gets pent up. Then you have a HOFer who wants to tear somebody's face off (and is capable), who hasn't had that chance for two years. Awesome!!!!
