Well, FWIW, that video was posted on youtube on September 8, 2024 (opening day), just about 6 months after AD announced his retirement.

Oh for F sakes I didn't see the post date. It's been resurfacing on facebook so someone is trying to screw with everyone.

To be fair, we as Ram fans have been asking the question since he retired. Is Aaron gonna come back? But yeah, now it's being talked about more than ever in the media. That gives it the appearance of legs. His nondenial makes those legs move a little more. Who knows if it goes further? I am hoping he returns. But I'm not expecting it. And if he doesn't, I don't think we'll hear serious speculation again. Maybe the thought this is probably his last chance, gets his juices flowing more?

I think all the triple teams might've been the nail in the coffin and the unspoken most frustrating thing for AD. No matter how good you are, 2-3 NFL lineman regularly focusing on you has to wear on you, esp on the plays where you need to be the difference. I think that's why his remarks of return always coincide with the idea of acquiring another stellar pash rusher.

AD has directly fed the rumors by saying he's tempted to come back. But...being tempted and yielding to temptation are two different things.
