Maybe AD was just waiting until Tutu was back.
I'd be shocked if they traded Fiske. Braden Fiske is an above-average sack artist, especially for an interior defensive linemanJust a thought about the roster if/when Donald returns..
I think they should look into trading Fiske. Not that I don't like him, I just think with the coming Salary cap crunch, they could get a little ahead of it and start building some draft capital.
I'm definitely thinking about next season as the roster cuts come.. it's one reason I think they really need to keep Bailey. I don't see being able to keep Young and am not sure how smart it would be with his age anyway. Stewart looks like he could be very solid and Bailey is a wild card.
I wonder why I really like this post.Rams are waiting for the last possible moment to announce AD on the team and ready for G1. Are you kidding me they aren't giving the damn whiners any prep time if they can help it. They'll be spinning around confused with their heads on a swivel on offense.
The Rams could activate him a day or two before the game and he can legally suit up and play immediately, provided the team has an open spot on their 53-man roster.
I love it.

I never read a word of it. Best post ever.I wonder why I really like this post.
I’ve said all a long he will be back & ready by after the BYE WEEK .That’s only if THE RAMS are WINNING!!
I get that and I don't know how likely it is.I'd be shocked if they traded Fiske. Braden Fiske is an above-average sack artist, especially for an interior defensive lineman
The reason why I'm typically against trading vets is because they don't get much on the trade market. I find their value to the team is often higher than what they can realistically garner in trade. That said, what do you suppose Fiske could return?I get that and I don't know how likely it is.
I just know that there's limited FA $ in the future and the time to take advantage of his value in a trade would be now. I don't see him being with the team long-term.
When his body and mind say “ready” he’s in. Donald “ready” is above just about any other NFL player “ready” so it takes time. I don’t see him going to Australia. Some speculating if AD does come back, he might not go to Ausieland for te 1st game.
I'm sure he'd not do that. In for the whole season or not. HOF'er or not, it would be disrespectful to the rest of team. He's gotta see it that way or he'll lose respect. From me at least.
If he plays, he's in for the whole season. Just MHO.

If he's not going to Australia then I say just forget it. We don't need AD99. We have a Super Bowl capable winning team without AD99. The only reason for AD99 to play is the nostalgia of it all, playing along side MG, with the possibility of setting some all-time NFL defensive records. So, if AD99 isn't in it for the full season, all games, then I hope he stays retired and we can move on.
I totally get that. I just feel like the team without Donald has a great shot at winning it all this year. I personally would want Donald back, but for the entire season, and see if the defense can break records (like the '85 Bears or the Ravens in and around the 2,000s). If Donald doesn't play the whole season, then there's no shot at breaking the records, which for me takes a lot of the punch out of it if he doesn't play a full season.Insane mindset. There’s still 16 more games. Most of which he would exponentially help us in.
Nothing about Donald's career, the way he played the game, the way he prepared for the game, or anything he's ever said in an interview gives any indication he'd want to be a part-time guy.

Regardless of the talent on this team, I don't think the rules really favor any records being broken on the defensive side of the ball. Both the 85 Bears and 2000 Ravens only played 16 games…
Just sayin!
