Yeah, I watched Kurt Warner, Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci and Michale Irvin make their predictions last night on NFL network. Chiefs and Saints were the most popular picks to win.
Yeah i stood behind Kurt thru thick and thin, and yes he got a raw deal from Martz, and if i had nothing else to despise what Mike Martz morphed into
His treatment of Kurt Warner would be enough to justify (thru my eyes) that MM had no real qualifications for ever being a head coach

However

With that being said, i really couldn’t care less about the guy Kurt Warner has become

He sees himself as a AZ Cardinal, hes nothing to me, a traitor with absolute zero residue of graciousness to the organization that made him what he is, that made him what he is...

That Made Him What He Is

While I’m sick of hearing it I think the louder and longer we hear Saints nation focused on how they got robbed in the NFC championship the harder it will be for them to redeem themselves. Would love to see old sphincter face get beat down again and have the fans see the real culprit in last years loss - a coach that can recover from a call that goes against their team at a crucial point in a game.

Jim Rome was talking about how the Cowboys had drama surrounding the Zeke hold out, negotiations and ultimate signing (all the while saying look at us.......look at us.......look at us!!!!!!). He noted how the Rams signed Goff and had the calm attitude of "don't look at us, we don't care about attention". The Rams love flying under the radar. They are going to be a monster of a team and too big to ignore after 4 to 6 weeks. Then, Warner & other people will get back on the wagon.

Yeah. Game 2
That game will be their psychological Super Bowl. It's cute.

I do expect that game to be officiated historically bad for the home team. There are make-up calls within games all of the time, but this could be a make-up game in the eyes of the league.

I'm still expecting a close win after the flagfest this game will certainly be. Rams were the best team team in the NFC last year and are the best going into '19. The Saints are right there but i don't think them being uber-focused on a week 2 game is in their best interest long term. JMO

He’s only giving the Rams what the Rams gave him.

Rise above all that. Kurt’s still cool.

IDK, to me you can't be with us if you're against us. When Kurt decides to rise above his dislike for this franchise is when we should all welcome him back with open arms.
But not before.

Saints are the popular pick because "they were screwed last year"..

Well, that is just hiding the fact that Brees was leaking oil down the stretch as they were fortunate to hang in in a number of late season games and could have easily lost to the Eagles in the playoffs.

I expect the same this year. Will come out strong, but then fade a little earlier this year.
Everybody beats the shit out of Goff with the whole “he was exposed by the Bears and played bad since then” narrative. Yet Brees’ last 6 games gets a pass? 7 TDS and 5 INTs is good? And yeah, I’m counting post season too. Because that’s what everybody else wants to do.

Drew Brees was exposed vs the Cowboys and hadn’t played well since.

By all means ignore the blatant roughing the passer on Goff literally chopped the head off on the previous drive that resulted in GZ FG to tie and the infamous Saints drive and PI thereafter on NRC.

Damn straight. I am tired of making excuses for him. SJAX came back into the fold recently, and he was glad to do it. We were glad to see it!

I don't see Warner ever doing that, so he can just wear that disgusting Cardinals hat into the sunset and be the hero for that loser franchise for all eternity, as far as I'm concerned. Anyone wanna buy my Kurt Warner shyte? I'll sell cheap...

Game #2 vs the Saints has all the makings of a real war. People think the Chiefs game last year was hard fought, but this upcoming Saints game could be way better. Two teams that don't like each other. Two teams that have something to prove.

The Saints will be going against an improved defense. The vaunted Saints defense couldn't stop the Ram offense last year when the game was on the line. How are they going to stop an improved team this year? The Saints AINT is the answer.
