Was a long time coming, huh?

A record home crowd and in the rain.

With a backup Ram QB.

A beat up Ram D before the game even started, then shortly losing Barron, Fairley, Westbrooks, and TruJo (for a short time).

Chris Long was even forced to take snaps at RDE for a while. Not good.

A young and reshuffled OL that had only played together for a few consecutive weeks.

Third game for the new OC.

Did I mention the game was in Seattle? Where the home team almost always wins?

Facing a red hot Seahawk team averaging 34 points a game.

Seahawks winners of 7 of the previous 8 games, I believe?

No sacks allowed.

No false starts.

Only 5 penalties accepted, I believe.

Shut the "12th man" the heck up multiple times.

Abused the Seahawk OL that had been "looking good" all game long. Embarrassing abuse on National TV. With no Quinn or Fairley and a subpar Long, mind you.

Frustrated one of the league's best QB's all game long.

Double digit lead for much of the game until the final minute.

No trick plays needed this time. The Rams just rose up and kicked butt.

You know, I can't remember when I've been so proud of this team. But it's been quite a while, that's for sure.

Anybody got a cigar? Lol.

Great summary 43. I would even add this game let all the confidence out of these chumps. It will be the reason they fall flat in Az. and the reason they lay a 12:poop:, and are one-and-done in the playoffs.

We can look back and smile. (y)

For all the hate our OL has gotten, they dominated Seattle's DL. And our DL dominated Seattle's OL. Our OL is still inconsistent. Wichmann was good in pass pro but inconsistent as a run blocker. Robinson was his typical inconsistent self in pass pro. One play, he throws the Seahawks DE to the ground with ease. The next play, he jumps outside and gives him a wide open path to the QB. Kid has to get it together. The tools are there. He needs to dedicate himself to his mechanics this off-season.

Dare I say it but we could have a good OL next year. We bring Saffold back as our 6th OL. We have Jamon Brown, Wichmann, and Reynolds compete for the two starting OG spots. And we might have ourselves a unit. Then all we need are a couple WRs (I think at least one needs to be a vet that has proven something at the NFL level), a TE to replace Cook, and a QB.

We're so close. I can feel it. But it will take balls to get over the hump this off-season.

What a great summary. Lots of things I missed while watching, since I was watching during a Christmas party. Didn't notice Long taking snaps at RDE or the Barron injury. There were a streak of penalties around the 3rd Quarter if I remember correctly that was really frustrating, but it was back and forth.

I have to say, this is the best win in 10 years...I was on Cloud 9 during and after the game...Still on Cloud 7 or so.....

The offensive line, as young as they are... No false starts. Hell of a job!

It was such a great win.

All the injuries on defense. Still kicked their ass.

I'm still smiling too.

I was still smiling from the week 1 victory over Seattle.. This last win gave me a chubby!!
