You mean like when the defender clearly went at Goff's legs yesterday? I don't see how Donald gets that called against him earlier this year when he was being blocked down but no call yesterday when the guy actually went at Goff's knees. Brady is an NFL darling. Just like any other good QB, when he gets pressured, his play shows it. Goff often has all day to throw and he does great with it. He also does great with pressure in his face. When it is constant though, he suffers just like all the "great ones". Frankly, Brady has enjoyed a clean pocket more than any QB I have ever seen. He's bound to succeed with that even without the favorable treatment I think we all see.
Brady' receivers weren't ever chopped liver. What kind of defenses did marino, manning, elway have? And just because the league and ESPN dont like to bring up the recording of the defensive signals, doesn't mean it should be over looked. That's a huge advantage that definately helped elavate the Patriots and hold down there competition. Like I said, he is a great QB and should be in the conversation of greatest QBs ever. Not the GOAT.All of them hard pretty good situations. Stable coaching, lots of weapons. Fact is Brady embraced the situation he was in and capitalized. Lots of great players get in good situations and fail. We hear the same crap about Goff, you know, system QB. So its unfair to say that about Brady.
Elway had T Davis, R Smith, Sharpe, McCaffrey
Marino, Duper/Clayton
Fouts Jefferson, Wes Chandler and Winslow.
Manning Harrison, Wayne, E James.
They all had great situations. Brady went to 8 SB with more inconsistent weapons. NE let everyone walk on him and he remained consistent.
Not the same. Knowing what the other team is calling on the field has a direct effect on QB play. Typical use of the what about defense. No real defense for cheating on the field so deflect and try to say it's okay cause they do it. Fuck that. You could wash away the first 3 SB they won based on known cheating. That could probably change everything after that because it is the foundation that organization is built on.https://www.milehighreport.com/2015...-behind-the-denver-broncos-salary-cap-scandal
Broncos Cheating the salary cap.
SF cheating the cap also Montana:http://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/...riots-49ers-linemen/w58ue1w23ec01dq8277h1hrgf
Warner is the GOAT so no digging there lol.
Point is lots of teams had various ways of cheating, shoot remember Lester Hayes and the stick um lol. Different age and different ways to get news and information which is why you dont hear about what happened back in the 80's. There was no internet.
As for deflategate, why not mention of Rodgers: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...e-limit/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.6f8c13774e4d
You know, that will helpBrady has benefited from being a system quarterback more than any QB not named Montana. But, like Joe, it doesn't mean he isn't good. Brady has also benefited from having a good coach. He wouldn't have as many 4th quarter comebacks without Belicheat making the team do so much conditioning. The Patriots condition through running various drills more than any team in the league.
But , I don't mind him being called the Goat. I just always follow it with freaker in my mind when I hear it.
I was watching the Cheatriots and Vikings game and that term GOAT came up. I told a buddy of mine that it's BS. I want to see Brady play when DBs could mug the receivers and D linemen could body slam the QB when sacking them. If he could be that successful under those conditions, I might agree. Instead we have rules made to protect guys like him and rule added in (after the Rams got robbed of SB 36) that you can't grab receivers after 5 years past the line of scrimmage.
We also have double standards where some QBs get hammered and nothing but someone breathes on Brady and the field is littered with yellow flags. He is a great QB but he's not GOAT in my book.
Brady will always be in the conversation, but Peyton Manning is the best I’ve seen play the position.

This is pretty much what he’s done his whole career. Dink and dunk with a few chunks.
one more thing, because of these facts, shady brady isnt even one of the top TEN best ever.LOL probably not even in the top 20.LOLyeah i have always found it comical when these idiot sportswriters bill him as the greatest quarterback of all time when he is playing in an era where the QB has a skirt on and you cant couch the defenders without a flag being thrown.he wouldnt last one season if he played in that day and age when the quarterback was thrown around like a rag doll and you could play defense without getting flagged. He is a wuss who could not even take a mere helmet hit to the knee.:rolllaugh:I guarantee he whined to the NFL and got them to change the rules for him after that.:rolllaugh:
Thse brady ass kissers also always ignore the fact that he plays in such a weak division and a weak conference in the AFC.Had he played in the same era that dan marino and jim kelly did and played in that division back then when THEY were playing,he wouldnt be getting billed as the greatest QB ever, nor would they have won so many division titles Those teams in the AFC division he plays in dont even belong in the NFL they have been so horrible for so long. The REAL NFL quarterbacks still with the most superbowl wins are Montana and Bradshaw. Cheaters dont count.
