I’m the guy who has a spreadsheet if I won. It’s obscenely detailed.

I’d probably just get sweet season tix on the club level, fly in on Saturday, wake up early and go to Uncle Bills pancake house in Manhattan Beach and the have my driver (I’d hire a car service) take me straight to the stadium where I’d just shmooze and tailgate until close to game time. Watch us win…of course, and then fly out later that night… unless it’s a night game, then fly out the next morning.

Lived in LA long enough to know I’m never living there again.

I might go to a few away games, but would depend on the city. Certain stadiums border on unsafe for opposing fans and I’m not remotely interested in getting food/beer on me or worse have drunken belligerent fans beat me up (I won’t even pretend on the internet that I’m Jack Reacher). As much as some folks hate Tampa, it’s a GREAT place to watch opposing teams. Cities like NY and Boston are next level awful for opposing fans. I hope Las Vegas changes the vibe for opposing fans as opposed to LA/Oakland.

Anyway, I would also have a magazine worthy home theater to watch games in if I’m not up for making a trip to a game.

And, yes, I have “detailed files” for that home theater as well.

Hell no. I'd buy a box at US Bank stadium. Now, If I happened to be a Rams fan, maybe. This assuming it's some massive win. But then I always wanted to be the person to win after someone wins the $499 million. YOU know the next guy that only wins $22 million. Like $22 million wouldn't change my life, and no one would be paying attention to me because some idiot just won $499 million.

PS: I always love it when people say, "I only play the lottery when it's big money." Really? Like $20 million wouldn't change your life? Morons.
I'm a moron.

But my reasoning is that I can't really afford to spend $20 twice a week for 52 weeks.

Note - I hate the $2 a ticket for both lotteries. And I feel like I have to buy 5 tickets per lottery.

And since I am an accountant - no one would know who won the $499 million lottery because I would set up a trust or something like that and list that as the winner on the back of the lottery ticket.

From what I know, trusts are private and cannot list the people who are part of the trust. I would have to look into it more if I won the lottery.

Note 2 - I am not a financial instruments accountant so would have to review those things in more detail before I make any decisions.

for me to win the lottery, the winning ticket would have to blow through my open car window, no other way

I don't think I wanna win the lottery. Imagine all the bad habits I could afford. Being poor is helping me live longer.

In FL the winner is public information. It cannot be withheld if the winner is from FL. Also in FL, they want you to hire an attorney and accountant before you come to claim your money if you win big. All too many lottery winners end up broke 5-10 years after winning.

Yes I would get season tickets because I’ve got a friend about 150 miles from me who owns a flies private jets out of Salt Lake City, Utah. And a trip to Los Angeles would be a common flight, so I would go up one day and come home the next day.

Oh it is public knowledge in most states, but if you create a trust, they can only name the Trust as the winner.

Basically, you accept the winnings thru the trust and the state has no way to find out who is paid by the trust.

The catch is that you have to sign the lottery ticket using the Trusts Name.

That is how people get caught because they sign the ticket immediately after they find out they won.

If I won, I would immediately put the ticket in a Bank Deposit box and not get it and sign it until after the trust is set up.

That few minutes to few hours between finding out I won and getting the ticket into a safe deposit box will be extremely scary for me lol

However, I have to admit that I read up on an article that states what to do if you don't want to be announced as a winner in a state that requires the winner being announced. I would have to look into it more if I actually won the lotto. Go to a lawyer - find out if the trust is truly the way to go, etc.

I also think you have to have a lawyer accept the prize winnings on behalf of a trust.

With that much money involved, I would definitely go with a high end lawyer firm. And even then ....
