Oh come on
@jakebogen95 ! Fisher shouldn't be fired with a 3-4 record and 9 games left to play no matter who he puts out on the field as his starting quarterback the next couple/few games. I'm as big of a GOFF fan as anyone on this planet but firing Fisher based on who he starts at QB with more than half the season left to play out?
You need to be more specific on how many more games of Keenum starting and the Rams losing warrants Fisher being fired? If Fisher's Rams win the next 2 games with Keenum as the starter will your Article not be a bit premature?
Fisher's job security should only be determined by Wins and Losses added up at the end of this season. With 9 more games left to play Fisher could still end up with the last laugh. It appears 7-9 is his likely fate but he deserves to sink or swim based on the teams final record.
It should be more about the Rams winning games and having a chance to make the playoffs than about failing to have Goff ready after 7 games. Nobody on the ROD forum or in the NFL world can guarantee that the Rams will have a better record over the next 3 games with a quarterback change.
Now mind you, I totally prefer Goff to start the rest of the season but since that is not my call, I'm just going to watch closely and let Fisher roll the dice for a lucky 7 or snake eyes.
