The article is saying that the rams defense doesn't have a good offense to bail them out, so they've pretty much been doing it all themselves.

To say they've under performed is asinine. This is a top 5 defense with the way they are playing.

I understand the thrust of the article, I was just talking about the misleading title. Secondly, you need to reread my post. Pay attention to the ""compared to expectations" when you do. If you still don't understand what I said PM me and I'll explain in greater detail.
