I guess I am in the minority but I do not at all blame the offensive play calls for last weeks loss. If the execution was there, passes and receptions then score in the 30’s.

I had a problem with the FG vs going for it on 4th down however. But that’s a small detail.

It was the defensive coaching that was garbage. No contain, terrible player evaluation, put weak players on the feild exposing the defense.
yeah no parts of the team were firing great.. but the offense was not far off from scoring 30.

the defense gave them no chance.

I may be wrong but I think they were taking a Sunday off in prep for tomorrow night. The effort was just not there on D.

Steven Jackson would've been great for McVay's system, especially prime S-Jax, who not only was a physical and fast runner, but an excellent receiver and pass-protector as well.

Alas, he happened to play for fucking Linehan and fucking Spagnuolo.

yeah - had one of the best years under Slin. There was a abrev. For him.
The front office didn’t help him at all & his DC threw him under the bus. I liked him as a play caller.
