A couple ROD members were there too (maybe more). @Ramhusker sorry I missed ya at STATS.

I kinda knew once the #1 seed was not in play the wind would be out of the sails for the team, and obviously it showed in the 1st half. Just no juice, they looked disinterested, they are not robots so I get it. Not an excuse, just the way it is.

Showed lot of heart coming back from 21-0 to tie it, they could have mailed it in, but to their credit, they did not.

I'm going to bet when this thing "re-sets" in a couple of weeks so you are going to see a team fired up, hungry, and ready to prove the doubters wrong, including many on this board, heck maybe thats what they need (along with health).

So jump off the bandwagon if you want. I don't care if we go to Philly, Charlotte, or Tampa, we win that game and then get that wind back in our sails and all bets are off. I'm betting on these guys.

Solid showing from the Rams fans in Atlanta on a Monday night after Christmas. Pretty much took over STATS pub before the game.

Would I have loved for the team to win, 100%, but really this game meant little in the overall scheme of things.

Hang with these guys, these guys remind me a LOT of the 2025 LA DODGERS.

Except instead of terrible relief pitchers, the Rams have terrible CBs.

Maybe once Lake is back.

Stafford definitely looked flat but he tends to rise up for the big games.

They worked on special teams, fix is in, fingers crossed. Time to fix the defense. McVay..?? Time to get healthy. Go, Rams!

Do you all remember this edge we had named Byron Young? Yeah, me either. Been pretty invisible since the start of the year. Could really have used some more pressure last night. Same could be said about Fiske

If Jackson played instead of Humphries, yesterday, we win that game easy.
So sick of this narrative. I don't completely disagree with you, but why do the Whiners have guys go down left and right, yet don't lose games because of it. Yet the Rams..."if only Lake was healthy....If Jackson were in there, if only Adams were in the game....we woulda won!'

Horsepucky, man! This team has been losing too many close games this year.

Puka is a gamer, and a few others, Turner, and mostly Verse. We need others to step up. I agree with @Flatlyner -Where the heck is Agent Zero? his nickname is taking on a less-ironic meaning of late.

Not disagreeing but Fiske only played 13 snaps. Injuries have derailed his season.

Until we can get some consistent pressure up the middle, the edge rushers and secondary will continue to disappoint.
Cousins started throwing up riskier passes once we did.
Same with Darnold.

WHat I don't understand is the lack of ANY pressure in the first half of most games, then we seem to turn it on in the second. Doesn't make sense at all.

Is it just me, or does it usually take an entire half of football before McVay & Shula adjust?
Why wait?
It also seems like a very vanilla scheme for the initial group of defensive series.
Must be masking things to see how it goes.

Yeah, if you want to win it all, you have to beat the best. It's not like we have a great home field advantage anyway. I think if they go to Philly or Carolina they will be hyper focused and will play well. Just have to hope we don't end up in a game that's absurdly cold and windy.

FWIW, the longterm forecast for the Philly area is basically high's in the low 30's for the next few weeks. It's winter. Thats what we have. We have had warmer winters recently, this one looks like it is being a more typical cold version.

The bad part about being road warriors is that at some point you run out of gas. I remember that 89' Rams team. They went to New England to clinch a playoff spot. Then went to Philly in the WC game and won. Then to NY and won in the divisional round. Then against SF, they hung in there for a quarter, had a 3-0 lead. Almost went up 10-0 on a bomb, but then they crashed and burned. It's tough, but they are capable.
