I still get a chuckle when I look at this.

Of course he's gonna lean into his manufactured "mistreatment" storyline again. I mean, because besides his hot wife... what else is really interesting about him.

I was surprised to see in the article that Goff has now only played 4 fewer games with the lions than he played for the Rams. I didn't think about him being there that long already. But like I said, there's not very much that interests me about him.

I'd expect him at his age now to realize that this storyline makes him look like a bitch/crybaby. So he still gives me the impression that his decision making hasn't grown above the questionable level. Not a vibe I want coming from my QB. I would tell him what I told all 3 of my sons when they acted with bitchassness... "Go take a full dose of extra strength Midol and get a tampon from your mom!".
That's why I asked, earlier in this thread, if he still sucks his thumb.

I support Goff still.
No ill feeling there at all for me. I like his game and enjoy watching him play.
I am starting to enjoy watching Campbell lose those bigs games because of his arrogance.
That playoff game vs SF, if he just kicks FGs they win that game.
There is a difference between a week 9 game vs a 2-6 Bears team and a playoff game. A road playoff game at that.
He really should have put his ego in check and kicked the FGs.....what a tool.
Campbell had to hold up his reputation as a meathead. Where better to do it than on National TV during the playoffs?

I admit to root for the Lions when the Rams interest isn’t at stake.

Goff is not an NFL douchebag. Detroit is blue collar. They’ve got a losing history. What’s not to root for?

So, you don't have a problem with their fans cheering with bloodlust when their team was cheap shotting the RAMS during the playoff game and Stafford was flat on his back with his eyes rolling back in his head after one of the kneecap biters stepped on him?

It is stupid to make the same call to go for it based on yardage alone, but then in your after game interviews you can spew the words, "Its what we always do." to try to deflect your stupidity. Like it was out of my hands. It is what the players expect. I need to show I have total confidence in the guys. Stupid.
When I play blackjack, I have rules I never break based on my total and what the dealer's showing, but that is just a numbers game that I have no control over other than deciding what my odds of success are.

Football also can be broken down to what the odds are, but to rely on that and make your choices based on rules set up by what the odds are will always burn you when you have the most chips on the table.
Well said.
