I really don’t care who the Rams take with their first pick...

I’m serious.

Keep their 1st or trade down? Again, I don’t care.

OL, DL, Edge, CB, or S? Who cares, I’ll be happy with any, tbh.

How can I say these things that would have been unthinkable as recently as 2016? Simple. Because I have a deep and abiding faith that the Snead/McVay duo will make great decisions and follow those up with exceptional player development aided in no small part by superb team leaders and example setters everywhere you look.

What a great feeling as we approach this draft. Sigh...

I know they usually have a good idea what to do - But without the proper guidance from us at ROD, they might go astray

I am very happy (And, Relieved!) to find out that Sean McVay and Les Snead are wise enough (And, I DID know they were Very Smart!) to use ROD as a Major Information Resource! My only question is since they undeniably get some Great Scoop from ROD do they contribute any Financial Assistance to ROD (Seems Only Right!!!)!

yea i remember spending a lot of timing on predraft stuff during the dark times, but between picking at the end and the great coaches we have, I feel like its almost pointless to spend my time on that stuff anymore

Love this.

So great to feel that whoever they pick or whatever move they make will be the right one as opposed to past

If they stay, the pick will be Lawrence or Simmons. They trade back will be Jenkins. He can manhandle at C or G.

In a weird parallel universe if Bradbury is there you're going to see Snead mess up his precious hair sprinting to the stand in the 2nd round.

It's not only that we trust the FO, we have or will have needs at almost every position. You can justify picking literally any position except QB. Part of that (CB, S, RB, WR, TE) is for the future. But still...it's making me question if we're as good as we think heading into next year.

I would like Lawrence.

If not I'm sure the Rams will make a great choice. It will be fun to see how the draft board goes. Hard to know who will fall to the Rams.

I feel like the only way we are going to bumped back mediocrity is if our Oline gets injured and we don't have the horses to fill in.

I want Oline dealt with in RD 1 or RD 2 of this draft. Otherwise I will have a hard time getting excited.

Whether we keep R1.31 or do a slight trade down - the best available of Bradbury, Lawrence, Risner or Simmons would fill a need and likely include BPA available. The only exception is if a top 15 prospect drops in the Rams lap (e.g. Bush, Sweat, Fant, etc.)

Don’t go to sleep on Chase Winovich, fellas.

He’s being underrated by the pundits. Trust me.

I think he would be a perfect Wade/McVay type player. A multiple year Pro Bowler in this D.

  1. Simmons
  2. Murphy
  3. Lawrence
  4. Adderley
  5. Or trade Down

My order of preference. Address OL in the third or fourth no need to use valuable capital.

I’d cry if we came out with Simmons and Nate Davis!

Hey now, what up with the Donnie Avery hate?

I'm pretty sure DA's per game numbers with the Rams were better than Eddie Kennison's numbers and shoot, DA was a 2nd round pick, EeeeeeK was a 1st rounder (chosen right before HOF WR Marvin Harrison).

But yeah, like OP
, I got faith that Snead and the coaches have what it takes to avoid an Avery/Kennison-type draft crapocalypse.

Finally common sense prevails. (y)

Common sense would be if they take a Safety first The Rams are in trouble:.I know our big mocker was be on a FS/CB. There is no value there

My point being if they don’t trade back for value The Rams are in trouble. They have to trade back.

Still going to play Monday Night GM !! I do have faith in there process. That’s why Insay that as well. Demoff has a day in this as well. It’s a team effort. There is a game plan in place with little rules they live by.I’n sure There is excepts to all the rules, but there is not enough value in a DS this year with such depth at the position of need for The Rams.

Les would trade back for a FS. If he didn’t I’d be very upset at first glance.
