I Just Found Out A Secret Concerning The Giants Game This Sunday vs The Renters

We don't have any Giant fans as members here so I wanted to share something that I was just told.

I know a serious diehard Giants fan who has hired a banner plane to fly a special message over their stadium this Sunday between the hours of 11:15am and Noon.

The banner will say - "Mr. Mara, Dumpster Fire Still Burning".

This is a friend of mine doing this. He tried to do it last year but the pilot canceled at the last minute. So, this time around he found a different pilot and everything is 100% set and ready.

This is the kind of fandom that I find so incredible and I respect it so much even though I hate the Giants.

Keep your eyes peeled for this on Sunday.

Your friend should have contacted @Mackeyser and maybe we could add a name change for the Chargers to Squatters. Anyway, it's a big day for the Giants, Cam Skattebo will start at RB and Jaxson Chase Dart will be making his debut as the new starting QB for the New York Football Giants.

If they can win several games with these two leading the way, Daboll could be back, otherwise there will be some major changes coming again for this organization. and I like Charger DC Jesse Minter for this job in 2026. Also @dieterbrock is being too hard on Daboll, posting he is a stooge.

Daboll may be a decent position coach or coordinator but as a head coach he’s over his head. trading Saquon then drafting Nabors before having ANY other offensive players was a sure sign of ineptitude.

What's funny is two consecutive years of NY's free agents making them look stupid. Saquon looking all world last year and now Jones looking like a real QB.

I can't believe that GM still has a job. Watch the hard knocks show. Absolute clown.

Daboll may be a decent position coach or coordinator but as a head coach he’s over his head. trading Saquon then drafting Nabors before having ANY other offensive players was a sure sign of ineptitude.

Barkley was not traded, but they did let him go in free agency and that was a big mistake. That was more on GM Joe Schoen, who felt they could not afford the contracts of both Barkley & Jones, but IMO, I would have tagged Jones and extended Barkley. My wife an avid Giant fan, kept saying that through the process and she ended up being right as always.

Sorry Bruddas for not giving an update on this earlier. It's actually funny and also a reminder of how "connections" carry a lot of weight up there in NY & NJ.

You can see the pics below of the banner that my friend had made for the plane. This is actually the morning of the game that they were supposed to fly it. Notice how clear the weather appears.

So soon after he got these pics sent to him that morning... the pilot calls him with bad news. He tells him that the weather wasn't going to allow him to fly the banner that day. Now even though the weather does appear super clear, that doesn't mean that the winds weren't too high for banner flying. I definitely know that well because a friend of mine in college flew banner planes up and down the beaches here as a part time job on the weekends. He would beg me to go up in the plane with him to help keep him awake. He had fallen asleep multiple times when flying these things by himself. LOL.

However, my friend here who paid for this banner and the plane/pilot believes that it absolutely was NOT the weather. He believes that some of Mara's connections saw this banner getting made in NJ and alerted him about it. He 100% is convinced that Mara paid the pilot off to NOT fly the plane. He tried to do this same thing last year and there was mysterious excuses as to why the pilot had to cancel at the last minute too. Honestly, I think he is correct.

Now he's pissed that the giants beat the eagles last night because he was planning on trying to get the damn thing up in the air again next week for their game against Denver. Beating the eagles makes the mood not totally right for the banner so soon after that big division win. He's still gonna try and get that thing flying over the stadium though if his team starts taking a shit again down the road.

Moral of the story though... the Mara family has the kind of old-school connections that are somewhat surprising and scary at the same time.
