IMO Greg Gaines is one of the most underrated players on the DL. On any other team he would be a star. He's good against the run and pass. He's also the backup to AD. When AD is out it's Gaines at 3T. He was a 4th round pick. I watched him at UW play exactly the same impactful style. But it's that experience watching him at UW that I see the growth in his play as well. There is no question he's learned a lot playing next to AD. His stats are impressive considering he only became a starter after 4 games. This guy is the real deal and is part of the core group of players McVay and Snead can build around.

So much fun to watch that. Couple observations ... one completely new to me.

The TD pass to Blanton against the Bucs in the Divisional Round was a classic-Stafford No-Look-Pass that Michaels and Collinsworth both missed.

Same game, on the long pass down-the-middle to Kupp that set-up the game-winner, there is one angle from the Bucs' end-zone that shows Ndamukong Suh rushing and hitting Stafford as he releases the ball. Suh continues to take several steps, looking into the Rams' end-zone with a strut and swagger appearing confident that it was an incompletion. The arrogant asshole did not look back until everyone started sprinting down-the-field for the spike to set-up the FG. Suh must have been SO pissed-off.

On Kupp's first Super Bowl TD, there's an angle that shows Beckham in the middle of the field, where he appears to be screaming to Stafford (on a half-roll) and pointing to the corner to where Kupp is headed ... appearing to yell: "Throw it to Cooper!"

On the third-down-stuff to set-up the fourth-down Donald-pressure and Burrow incompletion to seal-the-win, it's a combo tackle by Donald and Gaines. Another play Michaels and Collinsworth missed by giving Donald all the credit. Gaines was equally responsible for making that critical run-stop
Gotta look close but yeah, Gaines wraps his legs so he's stopped and AD pulls him back.

I remember after the game watching sideline stuff and on field sounds seeing OBj yelling and pointing to throw the TD to Kupp. What awareness and selflessness by OBj. I want him back so, so bad.

Cheers to the Rams production crew for having JB Long make the Superbowl winning call over Al Michaels.

I was so happy we didn't get Michaels and worthless for the superbowl here in Australia.

We got a preview of what the call would be like in the divisional game against the bucs. Horrible. At halftime it looked like they had just heard about a death in the family.

They were peeing in their pants with excitement when the bucs tied it up. Then Stafford and Kupp stole their souls and they couldn't mask their disappointment.

I just watched this again last night and man, Stafford might have the most talented arm in football. Dude is so, so good. So damn glad he's our QB.

Yeah 9 bent Suh over with that throw. That was a Hall of Fame type playoff calling card there for Stafford, and we had no idea there were two more coming in the near future.

There's definitely something there between those two IMO. They don't like each other much. Suh better have his vaseline ready too because if we see them again in the playoffs it won't be close. Rams let them back in that one and the Bucs losing Arians won't be as potent.

Guys, be honest with me, is there something wrong with me if I watched it 17 times in a row?
