You don't need a direct TV subscription for Sunday Ticket Anymore FYI. Since AT@T bought out directTV it has been offered stand alone so no need for the icky 2yr contract. Seriously I got ticket yesterday via streaming through XBOX, phone, and tablet/pc for 99 dollars since I qualified for Student pricing. Not sure how much it is without student discount but I think if you get a amazon fire stick they have promotions for discounted pricing as well, again not positive but look into it as 2yr contracts can get expensive.

I want to do it that way but i think its only avaiable in certain areas because it said it wasnt available when i did it. So i went ahead and order direct tv, i wonder if i can just have them not set up anything qnd leave my account open so i can watch it through my playstation

Nothing worse than going to the casino to watch the games. Nothing.
Once I got the ticket there was no going back.

Wen I lived in Dallas for a year the only way I could watch the Rams was either at a BWW type place with no audio surrounded by cowgirl fans or on the computer, it was terrible! I did not want to have to go through that again.

I talked to 3 different people and told them that I've heard others who have been with them a long time were getting it for free and they kept denying, denying, denying. I talked to retention department, supervisors, etc... I feel a strongly worded e-mail threatening to leave might be in order.

I tried the Sunday Ticket streaming for my computer in the past. It was terrible. Now, I just use the NFL European GamePass and a VPN.

I decided to stay with Game Pass and live with watching the games on delay. My schedule would only allow me to watch about half of the Rams' games live anyway.

If you use a proxy/VPN with a foreign IP address to sign up for Gamepass, you get games live.

I called and asked to speak to retention dept, once connected I told Heather that we need to do something about my bill as it was to high. I let her look for a few seconds and then I told her that in the past i have gotten Sunday Ticket for free and the only reason I was with them was for Sunday Ticket and if they couldn't give it to me free I had no reason to stay with them. Wham Bam I had it for free. Got a couple of other very small discounts (not as much as I have got in the past).

I was real calm and polite and truthful and it worked.

Yep, I did this a couple of weeks ago. I simply called and told them I wanted to cancel my subscription because it was too high. First, they lowered my bill by $50 for a year and then they asked me if I liked football. Of course I said I did, and they gave me Sunday Ticket for free. Then, the converted me to the wireless boxes and gave me free Showtime for 4 months. The guy in retention told me to just call back next year and they will take $50 off again. I asked if I will be able to get Sunday Ticket free again as well and he said "If we still have that promotion." We all know they will have that promotion next year.

I did the same. I get to go to games now which is awesome. I wanted to keep the red zone channel but they don't offer that channel without Sunday ticket.

The first sunday with the ticket was awesome! I flipped back and forth between 3 games and to be about to watch any game of my choosing instead of the networks choosing was great.

Was one of the best days of Sunday Ticket I can recall. Kept watching the 8 game split screen and jumping to one game or another. So many great finishes
