Its looking more and more to me like the best move is to trade down to the 19-23 range, pick up a 2nd Day (or TWO Day 3) pick, and Draft either BPA (Thielemann?) or Cooper, or Simpson.

This, or the trade UP, sacrificing future Capital for the TRUE impact player ( Love, Reese, Styles, Downs) just not feelin pickin at 13 right now, value wise.
Not sure about trading up, but definitely think trading back from 13 is the way to go.

Sadiq carried the offense? He didn’t have a single 100 yard game
Had only a combined 70 yards receiving in 3 playoff games
His playoff games were lower because he had the team back at full strength. I’m referring to the regular season. I’m also referring to how he scored more than his actual yards. He scored a lot of TDs if I remember right.

100% agree. Sadiq is a physical freak and could be a beast in the NFL but his production at Oregon (which is a big time NCAA football program) doesn’t show a dominant Weapon.

It's tough for me... Because I don't think Lemon is worth the #13.. BUT... I also think that in this offense he can immediately contribute this year and take it to another level.

But I think there are other WR prospects that might have better long-term value to the team.
I chose Lemon and would stick with that when it comes to WRs because I am confident he would produce from day one and could have pro-bowl type campaigns im our system. He will be consistent, basically never drops a pass, like statistically virtually never, and will get open - a lot- throughout his career. He played something like 30% of his snaps in the Z so he’s not purely a slot despite his size. The only knock is whether he may struggle vs press but Steve Smith believes his struggles were on the play calling not him

Who has actually watched Sadiq play all year? I am rating him a 1.5 or better. Kid knows how to play and is built tough. I am biased as I watch the Ducks play every year. But Sadiq carried the Ducks offense last year after they lost their WR1 most of the year. I mostly watched to see him play.
Sadiq at 13 Sadiqs hahahahaha.......Sadiq was very meh in big games. I watched him disappear there.

...one of the following players at 13?
Rating system
1 - excited - "YES!"
2 - optimistic - "not who I wanted, but certainly a good player"
3 - meh - "meh"
4 - disappointed - "I hope McVay knows what he's doing "

A) Fano
B) Tyson
C) Lemon
D) Simpson
E) Sadiq

For me, Fano, Tyson, Lemon get a 1.5

Simpson gets 3.5

And I really don't know what to make of Sadiq - I wouldn't necessarily be disappointed, but I hope McVay knows what he's doing! Haha
A) Fano 2
B) Tyson 1
C) Lemon 2
D) Simpson 4
E) Sadiq 4

A) Fano1.5
B) Tyson-3.5
C) Lemon1.5
D) Simpson-2.5
E) Sadiq-1.5 I didn't see many catches beyond 5 yards off the LOS in his highlight video. If McVay and Snead draft him, they will have big plans for him. He can be a huge match-up problem. The rest fit needs. Tyson's injury history is extensive.

To play on THIS team? Not likely.
You’ve been lulled to sleep by the perception that this offense possesses tons of elite talent. Stafford, Nacua and Adams who is borderline elite due to decline. That’s it.

It’s an elite scheme and coaching staff more than anything. And Stafford drives the bus.

Agreed. I’d describe this team’s talent as deep, with very little weakness across positions. Having said that it’s great our most elite player is at the most important position.

It’s why Ive been banging the drum for a couple years to go hard at adding more true elite talent at the skill positions. The Rams have been masterful at adding (and coaching) fringe talent in the last few drafts and molding it into solid workable pieces to rebuild from ‘22.

I have higher expectations than Kyren Williams, Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson, Konata Mumpfield and Jordan Whittington for the future.

Need more bonafide studs on offense. Especially when Stafford departs into the sunset. Another title would be so sweet, but IMO he needs help to get it.

Why is it necessary that we get great production from a rookie?
Because the great players come in and instantly produce. All over the league. Every year. We need better players surrounding Stafford.

Developing players is fine and part of the process as well, but the best players walk into the league and just have it, day one. And yes, even TE’s do this.

The key word in my ask was "necessary".

While I agree with your overall desire to add elite players, I don't agree that it's necessary for the offense to have these players in 2026 for the obvious and compelling reason that we had the #1 offense last year without them.

Additionally, whichever difference maker we add doesnt have to be a skill player. I'd just like to add an elite player. If it's a skill player, that's a bonus.

Also, there are plenty of examples of great players that didn't immediately produce.

Yeah. We’ve met here before on this subject and elaborated. We still don’t see eye to eye on it.

I would be happy with nickelback, hybrid defender and suspect the Rams are thinking heavily about that after what they saw what Seattle was able to do with Emmanwori.

Downs, Theineman or Styles would be a homerun.

Otherwise Lemon or an Olineman which always has value due to injuries.

No Sadiq, Simpson or Tyson for me. Thank you.
