That was my guess.... opened at -3.5

4 but down to 3 by kick off. On a neutral field I think these teams are the same caliber.

3.5

We lost Rankins, but homefield is real.

I have to admit that I would much rather prefer seeing your Saints playing the Rams in Los Angeles! You guys are NOT very hospitable to your guests!!!

I just bet the Rams +3.5 and over 57. Both lines should move this week, but the total will go way up after the public starts betting on it.

I saw that Rankins was a beast . Can you shed more light? Is he a run stuffer, pass rusher, or both?
Here is the thing about Rankins, he is a pass rusher and a run stuffer. He has a lot of talent, and he is a force in the middle.

The crazy thing is, according to PFF he is just a hair better than our other DT David Onyemata. Onyemata has been hot, and he is only in year 5 of playing organized football, so the kids potential has yet to be tapped.

Losing Rankins hurts, but it doesn’t stop us from stopping the run.

Yeah I noticed yesterday that the run D didn't falter after his exit. Eagles aren't the best running team but it was impressive regardless.

Naw, that's up to our overpowering Oline and twin hydra running attack!

Yeah, it’s going to be interesting to see how these things play out. Can Goff take it to another level, or will the team continue to depend on the run game?

Play action, from running game..

That has to be a key component to all of this. Goff is a fine qb, but his play has been a bit concerning to say the least. He will bounce back, but “when” is the question.

Concerning to who? Goff is cool and collected and only need to supplement the running game. Goff has always played well in the Super Dome, even under Fisher, and may well have to do more in order to win next week. Since the Rams don't lose to teams twice in a year, I hope your coach doesn't become even cockier than he normally is... It won't be the same sort of game as last time, and the outcome may shock the NFL world.

While Goff hasn't quite set the world on fire, most of his negative stats were accumulated in the Bears game where he threw for 4 interceptions. I don't quite think our game plan was sound for that game and the execution was even worse..... But take away that one and his stats even up considerably. But no, he's not played his best down the stretch. But I think that is something he is learning that he doesn't have to. Losing Kupp has made him expand his comfort zone (or his case....non-comfort.....), and that is something every QB has had to learn.
