On Sportsbook, 28 out of 29 of us say the Rams will have over 7.5 wins. I'm seeing some wins on our schedule at the beginning and end of the season that should give us at least 8 wins. The key for me is in our divsion. If we split within the NFC West, and win the games we should (IMHO), I'm thinking playoffs...

Here goes: 10-6 & a Wildcard Playoff Victory. (2015-16 Super Bowl)

How far are we going guys?

Superbowl baby! I think that the Rams will at least make the playoffs this year

I say at worst were a wildcard, at best were in the superbowl(yes I really do think its possible this year) When you get to the playoffs its seems more times than not good defense and running the ball in January is what wins you games and thats the rams 2 biggest strengths.

8-8/9-7

We are close, but not there yet. Probably 10+ wins in almost every other division.

8 wins for sure, with a very good chance at 9, and a slight chance at 10. That's how I see it, if they get a couple of breaks in games that are likely going to be a loss that could tip it to 10. It'll take turnovers on the road in SF , SEA and PHIL to gain that edge but I'm hopeful the defense can take away chances from those guys and give extra chances to the O.

I'm hoping for a MAJOR hangover for SEA.

That's a good point about another division.

Last year I think the Rams could have won the NFCE and NFCN and probably the AFCC and AFCN.

I think the post season might just be a touch beyond us this season, however, it's very realistic we could get a wildcard spot.
Either way we're getting a winning season this year :)

7.5 is about right for the over/under. Honestly, I see another 8-8 in our future, however I could also see 6-10 up to 10-6. A lot of folks don't talk about the turnover that our division has gone under, and how different the other teams may be.

Seattle- lost a lot of defensive line help
Arizona- Losing Dansby and Washington could cripple that defense - Carson Palmer isn't exactly a spring chicken back there
49ers- losing Bowman and Whitner to their defense is crucial - Bowman will be back around midseason, but how effective will he be? Can Frank Gore continue to produce? Can Kaepernick produce effectively now that he got paid? The window is closing on this team as the defense is getting older, and they will be in salary cap hell at the end of this year.

It's hard, I always have high hopes going in to the season. I think we have a legit spot at a wild card spot this year. Ima say 9-7

*I use post this any chance I get.

The optimist in me agrees with OP. 10-6 and wildcard win.

The pessimist in me says 8-8/9-7, no playoffs.

This is almost a dream scenario for us Rams fans in the Northwest...let it be for 2014! This has played out before and likely will again.

If the rams stay healthy with a season of experience for the rooks...

I'm with you.

10-6 with a Wild Card victory.

And I just wagered a cool million in the Sportsbook on it, so come January it'll be....
