I know this is a Rams board and people will be homers, but I get annoyed of that reaction everytime the media doubts the team. They should doubt the team, the Rams have not been very good for the past weeks. Now some of them ( acknowledge that the team will be rested, especially Gurley and the OLine, and that McVay may have kept some special stuff up his sleeve for the playoffs, all of those things make the Rams dangerous. But having lost to the Bears and the Eagles recently should be worrying. It doesn't mean we are the worst team in the league, but it suggests that maybe our seed is better than what the team is at the moment.

And remember last year, this whole board was up in arms against those who saw the Falcons win because of experience. And I was in those who didn't believe in that. And then we pretty much got beat by experience just like those people said. Most of those people don't hate the Rams, they just talk about what they see, and sometimes they get it right.

Go Rams !

The Rams have only lost to play off caliber teams, everyone else in the NFC play offs have lost to teams that didn't make the tournament. So no, we are ranked appropriately, and are ascending...

have you seen the other teams play lately?

bears barely beat the whiners, seafucks lost to the whiners and barely beat the cards, the cowboys got blown out by some team to zero, the saints are barely beating any team they play, the eagles are the only team with momentum and they're not blowing other teams away, they're barely beating them.

why are the rams being held to such higher standards after blowing away the cards and whiners?

.

Ok, we are held to a high standard, I agree, we started 9-0. The Chiefs are also in that situation of having slowed down a bit, and they are also doubted. But being held to a higher standard is a good sign for a franchise. You know who else is held to a ridiculously high standard right now ? The Patriots. From what you hear, they had a bad season and their roster sucks, yet they would be #1 seed if not for a miracle in Miami.
Now it's also a matter of perception, but I am not too reassured by our two wins agains SF and Arizona, even if they gave trouble to the Seahawks in the same span. Teams like the Seahawks and the Eagles are survivors of this regular season and they will get in with a lot of grit. We have superior talent, but do we have that intensity in the big games to come ? that remains to be proven.

The Rams sandbagged at the end there to put the media to sleep. Lol. Then they purposely grabbed the two seed for the better chance at avenging 2 of the losses. Brilliant.

Well in football you never know ? People that don’t see how The Rams are positioned would be in knowledgeable about the team.

— Yes I get the losses !
NO Orleans at NO’s will probably happen again ?? Pretty easy call !! The outcome is a different story ??

Da Bears - cold & on the road playing a tough team with momentum. — Now they have to come tonLA if they want to move forward.

Philly ?? Playing a hot team again. Now Philly would have to come into LA again after playing Da Bears ??

I watched a few rankings of the playoff teams and all but one person had the Rams in the top 5 (most ranked them 3rd or higher).

As I see that there's a good measure of respect when it comes to the Rams.

No doubt about that Steve...BUT...my question is this:

What is Wade Phillips gonna do f ok r the defense to be much better against the run?

Now that the season is over...tons if video exist on all teams for the year.
I hope the Rams can come up with a better defensive scheme.

They can't afford to take a half every game to figure it out!!!
IF we play Dallas or Seattle the only thing we have to do is do 2 gap technique.....which by the way, Suh and Brockers and DOnald did a few times against Seattle and it clogged everything up well....Russ only throws 25 times a game,so we can guess on 1st down that it will work.
