Jones started out this clip saying “No disrespect to Kupp, but if I were starting a franchise these are the WR’s I want”. What are the thoughts of my fellow ROD members? I understand that all of these WR are great-but to not even have Kupp on the list seems wrong.

This guy is DAF. He wouldn’t start with Kupp because why? He’s not fast enough? Kupp has proven to be better than all the rest.

He left Diggs and AJ Brown off there as well along with Jefferson, Chase etc. Definitely some great talent out there.
Athletically Kupp may net be in a top 5 list but he was the most productive WR this year and I'm thinking he will be again next year.

Relevant to the thread? Yes.

What were all thinking? Yes.

Potentially divisive? Probably.

But props to Ryan Clark:

Interesting take from Clark…and yes potentially divisive. I agree, props to Clark for his opinion.

My top 5

Kupp
Adams
Hopkins
Chase
Deebo
This seems like a better list to me. Deebo is just as important to the 9ers as Kupp is to the Rams. I would take Deebo in a heartbeat (not over Kupp though)

Clark saying what I've been saying... people on this board even do it. Compare him to other white receivers because he is white.

The receiver Kupp reminds me the most is Jerry Rice - nearly the same size and speed exactly - both with reliable hands and great RAC.

Rice didnt play in the slot much - but nowadays receivers play all over.,,, its different.

I get his point. It’s not like Kupp has proven that he can produce when a big game is on the line and the opposing defensive is focused on stopping him…

Oh…wait…

Yeah, that opinion is biased garbage.

That’s two ridiculous lists I’ve seen on this board in the last two days. First, Mahomes not being a top 5 QB, and now Kupp not a top 5 WR.

I think we’re at that “let’s make a headline” part of the offseason.

Don’t worry, though, Mock Drafts are just around the corner!

Keenan Allen?
Come on man….
If the Chargers offered Keenan Allen straight up for Cooper Kupp, even Keenan Allen’s mother makes that trade in a second.

It’s clear he rated the WRs based on their career (vs their 2021 season and beyond). Based on 2022 and beyond;
1. Kupp
2. Adams
3. Chase
4. Hopkins
5. Hill
