Last September biggame1190 (another poster on this board and others) and I went to the STL (for the second time) to see the Rams host Pee Wee 3 and the Skins for the season opener. We had the second great experience in as many years in the city of STL and of course the dome and the surrounding areas. This town and fanbase is reviving. The dome was 55,000 strong and LOUD :bangin: . The ROAR following the 60+ FG missed at the end sent chills up my spine and I could help but think back to our year of DOME FIELD advantage in the Ed.

That being said, how many of you are considering going to the Rams home opener this year? Biggame1190 and I are ready to make the trip out from San Diego and Deleware again this year. 2012 was the beginning of something special and I can't wait til August! Go Rams! :hehe:

I think KD should fly us all out and prop us up in a luxury box.
And put out a 50 foot sub made with albacore tuna
And Cheetos.
Not cheese puffs.

Cheetos.

I'll be flying up to The Lou for at least one game next season. Not sure if it will be the Home Opener though.

Would be very cool if a bunch of us could attend together.

I always enjoy meeting posters in person.

Hopefully KD has a soft spot for us and decides to give us a box ,,, I'd go ahead and splurge for the cheetos and my plane ticket if he does.

I'm there. Just let me know when. I'll bring some buffalo steaks.

I raised two calves this winter feeding them corn and 5 lbs. of almonds a day , I could bring some of that and some other tastes of the region, some Crown Valley Wine ,maybe some Stonie Wibbenmeyer's world famous bockwurst

Fuck the cheetos then... that sounds way more interesting Thor.

We could have one hell of a tailgate between all of us. Need to work on KD for that box. :sly:

September in St Louis - yep... definite ring to it. Any idea when we will have an actual date?

Usually we get the regular season schedule comes out in mid April, a few weeks before the draft

I could maybe make it.

Early September would be a good time to visit some family while there.

I'd love to do it.

Not sure I can though.

My Dad was originally from the St. Louis area.

Would love to meet you CGI! So much discussion all these years, but we've never met (as is the case with almost every other person on Rams boards).

Depends in the opponent and how my work schedule will be at the time.I live in MD but I'm definitely gonna make a trip to the Dome for a home game this season.Just need to decide which game, hey the home opener sounds like as good as any to go so I might just make it.But we will talk as the time approaches its to early for me to make any decisions right now lol.

Absolutely!

I haven't been to a game in a while either, so I've got the itch to make it this year.

Wow, another Rams fan in MD? I can honestly say I have seen less than 15 Rams fans in this state in my entire 40 years of existence. Where in Maryland do you live?

wow... did I hear ROAD TRIP

Wifey and I usually start making our football plans as soon as the schedule comes out., although last year the Patriots ruined an otherwise great vacation.

Will keep an eye on this thread and see what developes
